RollerCoaster Tycoon 3's controls differ significantly to previous entries in the series. There are no shortcuts to access any menus, or toggle views of rides, scenery, ground, people etc. The game features multiple different control schemes for controlling the camera; see Advanced Camera Controls.

General Controls[edit]

Advanced Camera Controls[edit]

Alternative camera modes are found in the in-game settings under the camera icon, with there being four cameras to choose from, Advanced, Freelook, Isometric and Normal. The Advanced camera has three alternate control layouts. Camera type 1 (not type 0) is the closest to RollerCoaster Tycoon 1/2's camera.
