The Lost Worlds is where you begin your adventure. The name of the location is a reference to Capcom's arcade shooter Forgotten Worlds. In fact, it includes a replica statue of the Dust Dragon boss in one corner of the store.

The store is divided into two halves. There are no Card Fighter competitors on the left side, but there are several people to talk to, and two particular features:

  • A switch positioned just below the Dust Dragon statue can be pressed to make the dragon growl. While it may not interest you for very long, a problem might occur if someone gets aggressive pushing the button...
  • A trading machine is positioned to the right of the statue. This machine will accept 10 D rank cards, or 5 C rank cards and exchange them for another card at random. While it's possible to get a better card than the one you give away, the card you get is chosen at random, so there's a lot of luck involved when trying to get a better card.

On the right side of the store, you will find a lot more action.

  • Nori (highlighted in yellow) is seated on the right side of the left Card Fighters Clash table. A battle against him is a standard 2000 hit point battle with a three card reward.
  • Fo (highlighted in green) is the boss of The Lost World, and the holder of the Lost World coin. To obtain it, you must defeat her in a 3000 hit point battle. You will also obtain five cards as a reward for beating her.
  • If you wander over to the area of the floor marked "DANGER", a stand will erupt from the floor. The stand is managed by Sylphy, who happens to be the shop owner that you encounter in Forgotten Worlds as well. The background music will even change to the one you hear when you visit her shop in the arcade game. She typically has a selection of four B rank cards which you can "purchase" by exchanging any three A or B rank cards. Each card is only available for purchase once, and her entire selection is refreshed after every 5 battles you conduct against the computer.

To the left of Sylphy's stand is a staff room door. However, an attendant will not allow you to pass. If you wish to see what's on the other side, you need to find a way to distract him from his post. If you succeed, you can step inside, and you'll see the room shown to the right. Inside are two employees, and a few other features. One is a trading machine that is still operational, but appears broken. In fact, if you try to use it, it will swallow up your cards and give you nothing in return. However, persistence may be rewarded. The other feature is a storage closet in the upper right corner. However, if you attempt to open it, the man on the left will run over a stop you from peering inside.
Distracting the attendant

To get the attendant away from the staff room door, push the button by the Dust Dragon statue until it breaks, forcing the attendant to come over and begin repairing the dragon.

After beating the game[edit]

After you beat the game, not too much changes in the Lost World. The key difference is the appearance of Mask, a challenging opponent who can reward you with extremely rare cards if you defeat him enough times. He only appears in the staff room in the back of the Lost Worlds. In fact, his appearance is randomly generated, so it's easiest to find him by immediately exiting and entering the room until he appears.

His appearance doesn't just mean the opportunity to compete against him. He also positions himself in such a way that he prevents the man on the left side of the room from running over and keeping you from looking in the storage closet. If Mask is present, you'll be able to examine its contents uninterrupted.

After you beat the game, any time you successfully defeat Nori, he will only reward you with characters from the Street Fighter series. If you are missing any Street Fighter characters from your collection, challenge Nori in an effort to obtain some of them.
