Various special objects and pickups can be found throughout the game, often providing some benefit to 006, but sometimes just getting in the way.

Core Objectives[edit | edit source]

Every level contains one of each of these objects, and they are essential to completing your mission.

Name Image Description Points
Security Radar This radar dish must be destroyed by shooting it three times. If it hasn't been destroyed yet, 006 cannot complete the level.

Keep in mind that you can shoot it from a distance and don't have to touch it!

5000
Dynamite This dynamite is required to blow up the exit doors. If 006 has it and touches the doors, he will automatically drop it and light the fuse. The Dynamite's explosion can hurt him, so get out of the way!

In Secret Agent HD, the explosion can instantly kill any enemy that walks into it, which awards the "Destruction Man" achievement.

500
Exit Doors Touch these after blowing them up with Dynamite to complete the level. You receive a score bonus if 006 touches them with full health.

In Secret Agent HD, getting the full health bonus on every level in an episode awards the "Better than Bond" achievement.

25k for finishing with full health

Point Items[edit | edit source]

These pickups only award points when collected, which don't do anything in particular apart from counting towards a high-score.

In Secret Agent HD, they may contribute towards certain achievements, and collecting all point items in a custom level is required to earn one of the level's completion stars.

Name Image Description Points
Magnifying Glass A detective-style magnifying glass.

In Secret Agent HD, collecting all of the Magnifying Glasses in a single episode awards the "No Sh*t Sherlock" achievement.

100
Spy Watch A brown wristwatch. 100
Briefcase A generic brown briefcase. 250
Toothbrush A toothbrush and toothpaste for 006's smile.

In Secret Agent HD, collecting 25 of these awards the "Fresh Breath" achievement.

500
Walkie-Talkie A red phone device. 500
Vest A bullet-proof vest. Unfortunately, it only awards points. 500
Money Bag A generic money bag with a dollar sign on it. 1000
Computer Card A green computer chip. 1000
Teddy Bear A cute teddy bear taken straight from Commander Keen: Marooned on Mars. 1000
Flag A flag that comes in different colours and is always found waving on a flagpole.

In Secret Agent HD, collecting every flag in all official episodes awards the "Flag Waver" achievement.

10k
Tombstone Human enemies turn into these when shot at their lowest rank. Can be collected for 1000 points, or shot for only 100. If you scroll it off the screen, it disappears.

In Secret Agent HD, shooting a total of 10 Tombstones awards the "Desecrator" achievement.

1000/100
Hidden Money Bag Many levels have secret spots that cause a Money Bag to fall down from above. If it hits the floor without being collected, it disappears and cannot be gotten anymore unless the stage is restarted.

In Secret Agent HD, catching 50 of these awards the "Raining Gold" achievement, and collecting all hidden bags in a custom level awards a completion star for that stage.

5000
S-P-Y Letters The letters S, P and Y are hidden in every official stage. Collecting them in that order awards a score bonus, but if one is collected out of order, the bonus can't be obtained. Note that every additional Y collected after the P awards the bonus again, allowing for massive scores in levels with more than one Y!

In Secret Agent HD, collecting them in order awards the "S-P-Y" achievement and counts for a completion star in custom levels. Collecting them out of order also awards the "Spell Checker" achievement.

100 per letter, 10k for spelling "S-P-Y"

Other Objects[edit | edit source]

Though they may not appear in every level, many of these objects are essential to completing a stage, so look out for them.

Name Image Description Points
Ammo A large bullet that adds 5 ammo for 006's gun when collected. In the HD version's Easy mode, it adds 6 ammo instead, while on Hard mode, it only adds 3.

In Secret Agent HD, completing an episode on Hard with 35 ammo left awards the "Bandolier" achievement.

0
Keys and Doors Keys in three colours (red, green and blue), with their corresponding doors. Each key can only be used once, so be careful where you use them. In the original game, 006 can only hold one key of each colour at a time, and trying to collect another destroys it (usually rendering the level unwinnable); the HD version changes this to allow holding up three keys of each colour.

In Secret Agent HD, the "Spare Key" achievement is awarded for exiting a level with a key in your inventory, and "Key Master" for holding 6 keys at once.

0
Inviso Glasses Causes previously "invisible" (non-existent) red platforms to appear somewhere in the level, which are normally required for progression. 0
Floppy and Terminal Collect the floppy disk and take it to the computer terminal to deactivate a laser somewhere in the level. Touching the laser without deactivating it kills 006 instantly, so be careful.

In Secret Agent HD, disabling a laser 20 times awards the "Hacker" achievement.

500
Pushable Barrel A barrel platform that can be pushed by walking against it. If it's up against a wall, moving "inside" flips it to the other side of 006, so it cannot become stuck in this way. The barrel is affected by gravity and cannot be taken back up once it falls off a platform, so be careful!

In Secret Agent HD, stacking two barrels on top of each other awards the "Stack-em-up" achievement.

N/A
Moving Platform A jump-through platform that moves left and right. Ride it to reach areas you cannot get to otherwise. N/A
Teleporter Stepping into the teleporter dome will warp 006 to another teleporter somewhere else in the level. The destination is always the same, but the teleporters are not necessarily linked in both directions. They also appear on the island map, where they function the same.

In Secret Agent HD, using teleporters 50 times awards the "Beam Me Up" achievement.

N/A
Firepower A lightning bolt icon that permanently increases the amount of shots 006 can fire at once, stacking up to three times (for 4 shots simultaneously). Unlike other items, this upgrade lasts for the entire rest of the episode, so if you know a level has a Firepower upgrade, it may be worth it to complete it early in order to get more mileage.

In Secret Agent HD, stacking all three firepower upgrades awards the "Machine Gun" achievement.

250
Super Speed Sneakers These sneakers double 006's speed for 15 seconds, which also lets him jump very far. They are usually required for a long jump and don't respawn except in the HD version's Easy mode, so be sure you don't waste them. 250
Confusion A yellow ?. Touching it causes 006 to become confused for 15 seconds, reversing left and right controls.

In Secret Agent HD, collecting this and the Slowdown item together awards the "Bad luck!" achievement.

0
Slowdown A yellow 1/2 symbol. Touching it causes 006 to become slowed down to half speed for 15 seconds, which also affects how far he can jump.

In Secret Agent HD, collecting this and the Confusion item together awards the "Bad luck!" achievement.

0
Blueprints These are the blueprints for the Red Rock Rover weapon, which 006 has been sent to retrieve. They are found at the end of each episode's final stage, though they technically only award points. 2000
Coffee Cup A coffee cup decoration. It cannot be interacted with in any way in the original game, but is used for the hidden "Coffee Jacuzzi" achievement in the HD-version. N/A

HD-Exclusive Objects[edit | edit source]

These objects appear only in Secret Agent HD, and only in "The Spy who Dumped me" and/or custom levels.

Name Image Description Points
Jetpack Lets 006 fly for 10-25 seconds. To fly up, hold the Jump button; let go of it to drop down. Killing an enemy while wearing the Jetpack awards the "Icarus" achievement. 250
Scuba Gear Lets 006 walk underwater unharmed for 10-25 seconds, though he's not visible while in it. There are often point items hidden in the water, but don't let the duration run out! Staying underwater for a total of 60 seconds awards the "Scubaventure" achievement. 250
Breakable Block A solid block that can be shot at to destroy it, like the glass blocks in Crystal Caves. Broken blocks never respawn, so be careful not to trap yourself. N/A
Smasher A 2x2 block that moves up and down in a set rhythm. 006 can stand on it, but it can crush him against the floor or ceiling, killing him instantly. Found in the secret level, but can be unlocked in the editor by beating it. N/A
Bubbles Soap bubbles that rise up infinitely from below. Touching one causes it to pop and 006 to bounce upwards automatically. Found in the secret level, but can be unlocked in the editor by beating it. N/A
Switch Can be toggled with the Fire button to switch the state of things, such as moving platforms and heat plates. Only found in custom levels. N/A
Heat Plate Harms 006 if he is on top of it while it's on. Can be linked to a switch. Only found in custom levels. N/A
Crumbling Floor An ice platform that crumbles when stood on, but respawns after a short time. Only found in custom levels. N/A
Yellow key and door Just another colour of key, plus door. Only found in custom levels. 0
