This is the default control schemes for the Nintendo Wii.

Wii remote only (Vertical)[edit]

  • Swing Wii remote with buttons face forward: Top spin.
  • Swing Wii remote with B button trigger face forward: Slice.
  • Swing Wii remote while holding the A button: Lob.
  • Swing Wii remote while holding the B button: Dropshot.
  • Swing Wii remote down while ball is above player: Smash.
  • A button+B button: Superstar State (once the star flashes).
  • Plus button: Pause.
  • Minus button: Change View.

Your character will automatically move for you but if you connect the Nunchuk, you use Neutral nunchuk to move your character wherever you want.

Wii remote only (sideways)[edit]

  • Neutral dpad: Move character.
  • A button: Superstar State.
  • Plus button: Pause.
  • Minus button: Change View.
  • 1 button: Topspin/Serve.
  • 2 button: Splice/Serve.
  • 1 button then 2 button: Lob.
  • 2 button then 1 button: Dropshot.

Classic Controller (attach to Wii Remote)[edit]

  • Neutral dpad/Neutral lstick: Move character.
  • B button: Topspin.
  • A button: Slice.
  • B button then A button: Lob.
  • A button then B button: Dropshot.
  • Plus button: Pause.
  • Minus button: Change View.
  • L button/R button: Superstar State.

Special note: The Wii version of this game will detect what control you're going to use at the start of this game. You can change anytime to suit your style but make sure you practice before you really play.
