Each weapon in the game is either primary (can be used any number of times) or secondary (can be used only a limited number of times). While you possess a secondary weapon, you cannot use your primary one until you fully use the secondary weapon you've got.

Each weapon in the game has a level from 1 to 3. When you pick up different primary weapon, your primary weapon swithches, and its level becomes 1. When you pick up the same primary weapon you've got, its level increases by one. Taking too much damage decreases your weapon level by one but cannot decrease it past the 1st level. Picking up secondary weapon doesn't affect your weapon level. Still, if you possess secondary weapon, picking up primary weapon and taking damage increase and decrease the level as usual.

Primary weapons[edit]

Kusarigama is a kama on a chain. You won't get this weapon by default. Still, you can obtain it on the very first level.

  • Level 1: The range is quite long, and you can press Up dpad+B button for vertical strike or Up dpad+Left dpad+B button or Up dpad+Right dpad+B button for diagonal strike. Still, its quite slow compared to katana, and you cannot harm an enemy point blank.
  • Level 2: Attacks become faster.
  • Level 3: When you strike, energy wave appears. It can be used to kill enemies very close to you, but cannot be used vertically and diagonally.

Secondary weapons[edit]

Important thing about secondary weapons is that it stacks together. For example, if the player has 4 shurikens and takes 20 shurikens, he will have a total of 24 shurikens, not 20.

Shurikens are stars made of metal. They have the longest range among other players' weapons. One pack contains of 20 shurikens.

  • Level 1: Shuriken flies in a straight line.
  • Level 2: You throw kunai instead of a shuriken. The attack is faster.
  • Level 3: Shuriken becomes self-guided. Sometimes if might be easier to use self-guided shuriken, but it doesn't always work right. It usually ignores flashing enemy, so it's wise to wait a few seconds between attacks if you want to concentrate on a single enemy. It can also aim at invincible enemies like giant cogs that means only a waste on a shuriken.

Bombs are very rare and powerful. They produce the explosion on contact that damages enemies for about a second. One pack contains of 5 bombs.

  • Level 1: You place the bomb on the ground where you're standing.
  • Level 2: You throw the bomb not very far.
  • Level 3: You throw the bomb, and it slowly moves forward, jumping on high grounds.
