The ISERCom building is used to transmit the distress signal, but shortly after arriving, you discover a few technical issues.

Communiation signal[edit]

Map for ISERCom

Follow Jane into the building, and into the control room. She will report that the power is offline and needs to be checked. She orders you to check the backup power generator, incorrectly stating that it is to the north (the correct location is shown on the automap).

Proceed directly south and enter the building. There is one alien patrolling outside, and many small bugs inside the building. The terminal should be at the back. While it restores power, there is still no signal and you need to head to the main radar building.

There are three routes. The lit route around the southern end of the building will attract the most enemies. The safer paths include the darkened area north of the generator (which allows a clear path west), or by heading to the starting point, and proceeding north past two buildings (which contain additional ammunition).

The terminal to raise the radar dish is on the right-hand side of the building. When you activate it, the radar dish won't raise. Grab the nearby key card, and head into the main chamber to the roof.

On the roof, there are three panels that need to be repaired. However, the roof will be under constant attack, requiring you to evade the enemies. You may get some repair time between attacks, or by waiting on the opposite side of the box as the aliens, but will have to stop if you get attacked. When all three gates are fixed, you can leave as soon as the radar dish is in position, and return to the first building.

Silver Mountain Base[edit]

The signal is going through, but a virus is scrambling the signal. To fix the issue, you need to head to Silver Mountain Base. Before leaving, look for a flamethrower in the first building, which should be behind a locked door.

To reach Silver Mountain, you need to head to the south-west corner of the area. Look for a snake-like alien, and proceed off-road to the west. You should locate a crashed vehicle, which is the start of the path to the base. There should be plenty of ammunition within the same path.

When you enter, the lights will shut off. The four side doors will then be forced open, with the aliens attacking. Once the threat is removed, the lights will turn back on, and you can access the silo from the side doors. The first floor should provide a direct path to the elevator through the side doors.

On the second floor, proceed through the silo center. The side doors only lead to isolated rooms, although there is a minigun in the north-eastern room. To reach it, destroy the obstructing boxes.

Inside the aminframe is a security bot

On the lowest floor, you will find Dr. Trevor, but he's been slain. This leaves restarting the mainframe as the only option. Go through the doors, and walk along the side corridor until you reach the end. Continue into the back room.

This will trigger a security bot that attacks unauthorized personnel. While it should include the aliens, both the boss and aliens will generally focus the attacks on you, and thus they won't fight among themselves. The security robot may take the entire set of bullets from the minigun to destroy, and if it still survives, can be finished off with the shotgun. The robot doesn't have a strong attack, and it can be evaded through simple movement.

Once the robot is down, head to the corner and activate the terminal. This allows the distress signal to be transmitted, and the reply with orders to evacuate Ganymede.
