Your city has grown. A lot of new features and changes have been introduced. First, Trade Centers are now Commerce Zones, and a new feature called Landscaping has been introduced. The three landscaping tools are Water Spot, which transforms selected land tile into water, Fill, which turns water tiles into land tiles, and Demolish, which destroys selected tile. Note: some tiles cannot be demolished.

The Budget Sheet is now accessible. It allows you to adjust the three kinds of taxes (Residential, Commerce, and Industrial) that your citizens pay. You can balance your Expenses, which measure the effectiveness and range of certain buildings, such as law enforcement, fire control, health, etc.

Also, your city's buildings have taken on a Asian theme, hence the name.

Walkthrough[edit]

Maxis first warns you that the city is prone to fires, so he tells you to build build Citizen Firefighters to reduce the risk. Rivers, streams, Ponds also keep the nearby area low risk for fires. After this, develop the city.

Riots are also a problem. To solve this, build Citizen Police to keep the city's crime in check. Prisons also reduce crime greatly.
