Operation: Wedding Crasher Walkthrough

Walk to, and climb to the top of Tsao's tower as Sly. Follow the waypoint to find your way easily.

Treasure Vault: The first part of the operation involves you making you're way into General Tsao's treasure vault and stealing his loot. However, this part of the mission involves Murray and Penelope, so when you are inside, walk to the front doors and unlock them (by pressing the circle button), allowing Murray and Penelope to enter.

After Sly has left you will be in control of Penelope's RC car, and will have to carefully maneuver your way between the blue security beams (Accelerate with the X button, and revers with square and/or circle). If the RC car runs into the beams, or the security nodes you have to restart from the beginning of the course again. So be very careful, make small movements, and watch the security beams closely, as they will often allow small gaps where you can drive through, but only for a limited time. Also remember not to shoot any of the glass walls or power nodes. It will trigger and alarm and cause a game over, taking you back to the start of the track. Once you reach the back room (with the dragon statue), locate the computer and destroy it with the guns on the RC Car (by pressing the R1 button).

After destroying the computer, Penelope will make a point that the laser door blocking the path has not gone away. This leads Murray to come to the conclusion that there must be another computer hidden somewhere, and by destroying the blue power nodes, may be able to stop the other computer from going online. At this point, you do not need to worry about moving into the blue security beams, and only need to focus on destroying the 30 power nodes within the allotted time. You can even shoot at the glass walls to create shortcuts. Failing to complete the mission within the given time will result in a game over and you will begin from the point at which you destroyed the first computer.

When all the power nodes are destroyed, the laser grid will fade, and you will take control of Murray. Walk to the back room and you will have to push a button at the same time as Penelope. The first time, no matter how in-synch you are with Penelope, you will have to fight a few enemies. However, they are not that difficult to defeat. After that, return to the button, press it at the right time, and a trap door will open. Sly will warn Murray that Tsao is approaching, and Murray will "cannonball" into the money pit.

Protecting the Vases: After that, Sly will be shown leaving the tower, showing that we are back, earlier in the mission. However, this time, we are playing as Sly. Paraglide and walk to Tsao's castle (follow the waypoint if you are having trouble) and enter through the front door. In the room there are several vases, and The Panda King informs you that the vases are a trap, set to snag thieves. If any of the vases breaks, the mission will end in a failure, and you'll have to restart from the beginning of the segment. The Panda King will begin shooting fireworks underneath the palace, causing the vases to shake. It is your job, as Sly, to prevent the shaking vases from falling. This part is very tricky, and may require some trial and error. But, do not get discouraged. There is a set pattern, and if you know this pattern, the segment can be really short. Following the diagram on the right. The pattern for which vases will shake is:

    Cooper vases.png
    A, G, F, I, E, H, D, C, B, H, E, F, A, C, B, J

Once completed, Sly will leave the room, announcing that it is now Bentley's turn.

Luring Carmelita: Using Bentley's Grapple-Cam, you must now lure Carmelita to Tsao's palace. If you do not have the Grapple-Cam linked to a button, do that now by pressing SELECT and going to the Grapple-Cam gadget, and pressing the button you would like to link it to. Using the button you have the Grapple-Cam linked to, throw it in front of you, and, using the X button, locate Carmelita, who should be placed nearby the safehouse (no shame in using the waypoint if you get lost). Once you find her, press the circle button to distract her and make her follow you. Do this until you arrive at the front doors of the palace, where Carmelita will see Sly's calling card and walk in. In this part of the mission, the only way to fail, is to leave the platform Bentley is standing on. Carmelita or any guard destroying the Grapple-Cam will not fail the mission, so do not worry about that. Also, the “distract” command only works from a certain distance away. If Carmelita does not come on the first call, she may be too far away. And, as mentioned earlier, the Grapple-Cam can also distract and lure guards. So be a bit careful when using the “distract” command.

After Carmelita has been lured inside the Palace, The Panda King will escape with Jing-King, and Carmelita, thinking Cooper is trying to disguise himself as Tsao and trying to steal the veiled bride, will take the place of Jing-King, hoping to bust Cooper once and for all.

BOSS FIGHT – Stone Dragon: After that, we see that Murray's “cannon ball” into the treasure vault has caused the entire temple to fall apart and crash into the frozen waters below. Tsao, outraged by this, summons the “stone dragon of the temple” to destroy the Cooper Gang. The dragon snatches Penelope, and makes for a normally unreachable height. However, in this case, we were lucky enough to be fighting on the eve of Tsao's wedding. Meaning, there are celebratory fireworks stationed at several areas around the stage. Just hook onto them with your cane (by pressing the circle button when neat them) and you will be blasted into the air, towards the dragon.

Once you have reached the dragon, immediately press the circle button again to land safely on the dragon's back spikes. Then continue ninja spire jumping to each spike, until you reach its head. Be careful, however, because the dragon will start breathing fire to knock you off. Simply jump over the fire when you see it coming. When you have reached the head, start whacking it with your cane. He will try to hit you with it's hands, or burn you with it's fiery tongue. Back away onto a previous spike, when it tries to slap you, and jump over it's tongue when it wave it around. After you take out enough health, the dragon will begin to do barrel rolls, forcing you off. However, once again, there are fireworks located at several placed around the map, so do not be discouraged if you are thrown off. Just locate another firework and get back on the dragon (if you are really having trouble locating any fireworks, remember, the waypoint is your friend. It will point you to the closest firework). The only way to fail this part of the mission, is to die. But, just like every other part of this mission, it will only take you back to the start of this segment. When the dragon is defeated, Tsao will gloat saying he has still won, that Jing-King still belongs to him. But as we saw earlier, Jing-King is in the custody of the Cooper Gang, and more importantly, her father The Panda King.

The Getaway: The operation ends with Tsao at his wedding, only to have a “shocking” discovery that his “bride” was actually Inspector Fox the whole time. Along with The Panda King becoming a new member of the Cooper Gang.
