Room 1: "NO DICE"[edit]

ST Arena 3-1.png

Welcome to the game's third arena. This room features Purple Cobras (who attack by crawling towards the contestants and trying to stab them with their spears), Tanks, and Snakes (who will attack by pouring into the room from its top door); there are also five land mines on the floor. Once you have killed all of them a screen with the map shown below on it will come into view from the screen's left side (the glowing X to the left indicates this room, while the dollar signs to the top-right and bottom indicate bonus rooms, and Die Cobros, whose naming is not the accurate German for "the Cobras", which would be "die Kobren", to the right indicates the first boss room). This arena again features three paths which may be taken through it - as opposed to just two.

ST Map 3.png

Room 2A: "TURTLES BEWARE!"[edit]

ST Arena 3-2A.png

If you chose the upper path, you shall proceed to this room, which features Green Clubbers, Snakes (who shall pour into it from the mouth of the head carved into its top wall) and Magenta Clubbers; there are also six land mines on the floor. Once you have killed them all, you will have no choice but to proceed to the right to Room 3A - and in Revision 8.00, the bonus room on this path will greatly increase your chances of entering the Pleasure Dome.

Room 2B: "TEMPLE ALERT"[edit]

ST Arena 3-2B.png

However, if you chose the centre path, you shall proceed to this room, which features: Purple Cobras, Snakes (who shall pour into it from the mouth of the head carved into its top wall), Centipedes (who are composed of four body segments) and Tanks; there are also five land mines on the floor. Once you kill them all you'll have no choice but to proceed to the right to Room 3B - and its name suggests the Centipedes were first meant to be scorpions.

Room 2C: "NO TURTLES ALLOWED!"[edit]

ST Arena 3-2C.png

And if you chose the lower path, you will proceed to this room, which features Purple Cobras, Snakes (who will pour into it from the mouth of the head carved into its top wall), Centipedes, both colours of Atoms and Blue Bombers; there are also five landmines on the floor. Once you have killed all the enemies who are not Blue Bombers (as they shall blow themselves up if not killed in time), you shall have no choice but to proceed right to Room 3C.

Room 3A: "EXTRA SAUCE ACTION!"[edit]

ST Arena 3-3A.png

Once the contestants have proceeded to this room a screen with the host (and his two female assistants) on it shall come into view from the left side of the screen as he says "Big money...Big prizes...I love it!" from the HC-55516; this room's featured enemies, which are Blue Bombers, Snakes and both colours of Clubbers, shall then start entering it from all four sides, and there are also five land mines on the floor. Once you've killed all the Snakes and Clubbers (along with any Blue Bombers who did not have time to blow themselves up), you will have no choice but to proceed to the right to Room 4A.

Room 3B: "SCORPION FEVER"[edit]

ST Arena 3-3B.png

This room features: both colours of Clubbers, Snakes, Red Bombers, and Tanks; there are also three land mines on the floor. Once you have killed all the enemies who are not Red Bombers (as they shall blow themselves up if not killed in time) you must either go up to Room 4A or down to Room 4B.

Room 3C: "TURTLE CHUNKS NEEDED!"[edit]

ST Arena 3-3C.png

Once the contestants have proceeded to this room a screen with the host (and his two female assistants) on it shall come into view from the left side of the screen as he says "Big money...Big prizes...I love it!" from the HC-55516; the room will then get filled with prizes, which the contestants will have to collect as many of as they can, before they disappear (you may remember that they are now copies of the show's exciting home game, fabulous riding mowers, and year's supplies of meat products). However, for Revision 8.00, it will be filled with keys instead - so you should have no trouble collecting the ten which are required to enter the Pleasure Dome (after clearing Room 11). The room's featured enemies (both colours of Cobras, Blue Bombers and Tanks) will then start entering it, from all four sides; there are also six land mines on the floor. Once you've killed all the enemies who are not Blue Bombers (on account of that fact that they will blow themselves up if not killed in time), you will have no choice but to proceed to the right to Room 4B.

Room 4A: "COBRA JUST AHEAD!"[edit]

ST Arena 3-4A.png

This room features Purple Cobras, Red Bombers, and Ochre Cobras (who behave identically to the Purple ones, but move faster); there are also three land mines on the floor. Once you have killed all the Cobras (along wth any Red Bombers who did not have time to blow themselves up), you will have no choice but to proceed up to Room 5A, which is the last one before this path's bonus room (for those who are trying to get into that Pleasure Dome).

Room 4B: "DYNAMITE COBRA BOSS!"[edit]

ST Arena 3-4B.png

This room features Snakes (who will pour into it from both the top door and the mouths of the heads carved into the top wall), Centipedes and Big Red Hover Droids; there are also four land mines on the floor. Once you've killed all the enemies you will have no choice but to proceed down to Room 5B.

Room 5A: "SECRET ROOMS NEARBY!"[edit]

ST Arena 3-5A.png

This room features Green Clubbers and Tanks; there are also five land mines on the floor. Once you have killed them all, you will have no choice but to proceed to the right to Room 6A - and this room's name is also a reference to Rooms 10, 11 and 12 (which are not depicted on the map shown above).

Room 5B: "WITNESS TOTAL CARNAGE"[edit]

ST Arena 3-5B.png

This room features both colours of Clubbers, Snakes (who will pour into it from the mouths of the heads carved into the top wall) and Centipedes; there are also six land mines on the floor. Once you've killed them all you shall have no choice but to proceed to the right to Room 6B - which, like Room 5A, is named "SECRET ROOMS NEARBY!" and is identical to it but with Blue Bombers, Magenta Clubbers, Centipedes and both colours of Atoms as well as Green Clubbers and Tanks, and three land mines as opposed to six. Once you've cleared it, you will have no choice but to proceed up to Room 7B.

Room 6A: "ENJOY MY WEALTH"[edit]

ST Arena 3-6A.png

The room's featured enemies (Green Hover Saucers, both colours of Clubbers, both colours of Atoms and Blue Bombers) shall now start entering it from all four sides; there are also six land mines on the floor. Once you have killed all the Hover Saucers, Clubbers and Atoms (along with any Blue Bombers who did not have time to blow themselves up), you will have no choice but to proceed down to Room 7A - and you shall also eventually end up in the room after this one if you choose one of the other paths as well.

Room 7A: "WALLS OF PAIN"[edit]

ST Arena 3-7A.png

This room features all four colours of regular Hover Droids; there are also eight land mines on the floor. Once you've killed all the Hover Droids, you'll have no choice but to proceed down to Room 8, which is the last one before the first boss room (the second one is not-shown-on-the-map Room 12).

Room 7B: "USE THE BUFFALO GUN!"[edit]

ST Arena 3-7B.png

This room features Big Red Hover Droids (and both colours of Atoms); there are also five land mines on the floor. Once you've killed all the enemies, you will have no choice but to proceed up to Room 8 - which, you may remember from the above section, is the last room before the first boss room.

Room 8: "LAST ARENA?"[edit]

ST Arena 3-8.png

This room features both colours of Clubbers, both colours of Atoms and Centipedes; there are also fourteen land mines on the floor. Once you have killed them all you shall have no choice but to proceed to the right to Room 9 - which is the first boss room and has three more secret rooms after it.

Room 9: "COBRA DEATH!"[edit]

ST Arena 3-9.png

This room features Die Cobros (who attack by spitting flames at the contestants); once you have fired enough shots at both of them to defeat them (these two enormous snakes shall take damage as one and are also vulnerable to the contestants' default shots), their heads shall simultaneously explode in two fountains of blood, and their now-lifeless bodies shall recede back into the holes they had emerged from (which will get covered by gratings). You shall now have no choice but to proceed to the right to Room 10, which is the first of the three secret rooms not shown on the map.

Room 10: "YOU MAY ENTER KEY ROOM #1!"[edit]

ST Arena 3-10.png

This first secret room features Orbs, Tanks, Flying Saucers and Blue Bombers; there are also eight land mines on the floor. Once you have killed onslaught of Orbs, Tanks, and Flying Saucers (along with any Blue Bombers who didn't have enough time to blow themselves up), you'll have no choices but to proceed to the right to Room 11 - which is the second of the three secret rooms, and the last one before the second boss room. In Revision 8.00, it also has two possible exits (however, the second one at the bottom shall only open if you managed to collect ten or more keys).

Room 11: "YOU MAY ENTER KEY ROOM #2!"[edit]

ST Arena 3-11.png

This second and penultimate secret room features Green Clubbers, Blue Bombers, Green Hover Saucers, Magenta Clubbers and both colours of Atoms; there are also three land mines on the floor. Once you kill all the Clubbers, Hover Saucers, and Atoms (along with any Blue Bombers who weren't given enough time to blow themselves up), you will (in Revisions 4.00 to 6.00) have no choice but to proceed to the right to Room 12 (the ultimate confrontation) - but if you collected ten or more keys in Revision 8.00, you will also have the option of going down to the Pleasure Dome.

Room 12: "EAT MY EYEBALLS!"[edit]

ST Arena 3-12.png

Once the contestants have proceeded to this room, a screen with the host and his two female assistants on it shall come into view from the left side of the screen, as he says "Total carnage...I love it!" from the HC-55516; this room initially features both colours of Atoms, and once you've killed them all, the host himself (who is an android, and has two Gunners on his treads!), shall enter it through the enormous hole in the top wall. Once you have fired enough normal shots at both of the Gunners to kill them, you shall have to collect the powerups that are randomly appearing on the floor, to attack the host himself (as he, like Mutoid Man, is invulnerable to the contestants' default shots!) - and he attacks by rolling around the room, while firing his own eyeballs at the contestants (instantly growing replacement ones) and trying to run them over. Once you have fired enough shots at him from one side, one of his arms will explode; you'll then have to start firing at him from the other side, and once you have fired enough shots at him from that side, his other arm will explode. You will then have to start firing at him from the front, and once you've fired enough shots at him from that side, his suit jacket, head, ribcage and treads will explode in turn (and the first one will leave him in a white vest with red spots) - and the room will then fill with five lots of prizes (which the contestants shall have to collect as many of as they can, before they disappear). Both contestants will then receive a "Home Game Bonus" of 2000 points for every home game they collected, "Lawnmower Bonus" of 2000 points for every mower they collected (same as the "Home Game" one), "Meat Supply Bonus" of 2500 points for every bull's head they collected, and "Cash Bonus" of 900 points for every dollar bill, silver bar, gold bar they collected; after this, the game shall proceed to the ending sequence, and one part of its text happens to be exclusive to Revision 8.00:

Coming Soon:
Even More Carnage!

The text "GAME OVER" will then appear on the screen, and the game will go into high-score mode; your scores will most likely be the two highest ones upon the cabinet to date, so you should enter your names at the top of the table with pride, regardless of which way around they're positioned (by using the left joystick in the desired direction to select each letter and pushing the right joystick in any direction to enter it). Once you have done so, the game will go back into attract mode - but despite the "Coming Soon: Even More Carnage!" message seen after the ending credits, it never received a sequel. However, this might be a reference to the later game from the same team of designers, Total Carnage, which was released by Midway Games in 1992.
