The main character[edit]

The mai character has three attributes:

  • Health Points (HP): they represent the endurance of the character;
  • Strength: it determines the amount of damage dealt to enemies;
  • Defense:it reduces the amount of damage received from enemies.

By the time you get all of the Soul Equipment you should be level 24-25 (otherwise the Soul Blade can't be used). At 25 your strength and defense will be maxed. You may train further to Level 37 to get more Health Points, which will be useful against Deathtoll, but to reach Level 50 is unnecessary, since you need to spend a lot of time to collect Exp (the difference between level 25 and level 50 is almost 100 000 000 points).

You may even spend a month grinding to reach level 50, which is not useful since your HP maxes out at 100 at level 47. On the other hand, reaching level 50 is like a challenge that not every player can get.

Attribute gains per level[edit]

  • HP raises by 2 units per level.
  • Strength and defense raise by 1 unit every second level, alternating each other.
  • Experience points required to reach next level increase exponentially, i.e. experience required to reach a level is on the average 1.35 times the experience required to reach the previous level.

Default name[edit]

The character has no default name. He is an emissary of the Master deity (an Angel, according to monotheistic religions), or an incarnation of a deity (an Avatar, according to Hinduism).

For reference, the heroes in the following games are called: Will (Illusion of Gaia), Ark (Terranigma) and Eon (The Granstream Saga).
