21 - Apostrophe Policeman[edit]

This is your first encounter with Boffins - these appear with a white warp beam and approach slowly. To start with, they aren't always injured by a direct attack, but may be knocked back slightly. They can only be killed by being pushed off the grid or when they are traversing columns. When they reach the top, you hear "danger", and the only way to hit them is with a jump.

22 - Bumbodromo[edit]

Boffins arrive in slightly larger groups, but are easily crushed. It may be diffuclt to see enemies just off the middle section, and very difficult at the far edges.

No special tactics needed, simply shoot the boffins before they reach the top.

23 - Cylinder of Love[edit]

See the spiked boffin, and the angled bullet coming close.

The boffins on this map are spiked. Thus, you may find it a bit harder to jump over them, and also have to watch for angled shots as well.

24 - Stinky Ox[edit]

More boffins, but not too dangerous

The spiked boffins come in greater numbers, and may be more dangerous as they move across columns more rapidly when they reach the top.

In spite of the enemies, you shouldn't have trouble seeing the enemies approach.

25 - Bloody Spheres[edit]

There are few enemies in this map, which may make the initial power zone a little weak. As such, you may have to use your bomb early in a pinch.

This level is best played like classic tempest until you have a stable power zone - completely destroy enemies as soon as possible, then try farming bull rushes from them when you can.

Visibility is quite good.

26 - Diamond Geezer[edit]

Starts off easy, but don't get cocky - near the end of the levels, flowers come in more frequently, and begin extending past your end of the grid.

Boffins are also seen, and as such, you should try reserving pods as a last rsort.

27 - Right pill[edit]

Grunts and boffins only, and grunts have the preference to move to the right of the grid first.

Perform slow movements on this one - you are on a flat plane, and your end of the grid extends well beyond the sides of the screen.

For maximum score, try to kill grunts until you get your jump pod, then move to the left. Once the power grid is depleted, hold your jump button, and charge to the right to sweep away the enemies.

28 - Upstairs[edit]

One of two safe locations

Poor visibility, best place to detect incoming attacks from curved shots is in the middle. The worst visibility is directly on the "steps" themselves, as such, expect surprise attacks. The boffins tend to traverse columns a bit more, but are still dangerous.

Near the end of the level, you get swarmed by boffins.

29 - Get off my Surface[edit]

Attack waves normally consist of 3 boffins, 3 flowers, an 1 container, but may vary.

The flowers provide the advantage on this map; given their number, they are easy to hit and expand the power zone. Aim for the boffins before they do too much damage, and be sure to do the bull rush as soon as you take out a container.

30 - Stunted growth[edit]

Flowers grow extremely short on this map, and are usually shot down without trouble; however, they are frequent.

The left will bring you outside of the spiral, while moving to the right will bring you in (where you have limited visibility). No special tactics are required.
