Once Rick has reappeared for a final time, start walking to the right, and jump over the three Fire Logs that are rolling towards you; once you have done so, four more will drop down from the sky and start rolling towards you from their landing positions. Once you have jumped over them all, two Fire Dead will drop down from the sky and start jumping towards you - and you must stand in a place where you know that they will not land on you, then wait until they have jumped over you, before continuing onto the right and jumping over an eighth Fire Log that is rolling towards you. Once you have done it, two more Fire Dead will drop down from the sky, and start jumping towards you; once again, you must stand in a place where you know that they won't land on you and wait until they have jumped over you before continuing onto the right and jumping over a ninth Fire Log that's rolling towards you. Two more Fire Dead will then drop down from the sky and start jumping towards you, as a tenth Fire Log comes rolling towards you - and you must first jump over the Fire Log in order to land in a place where you know the Fire Dead will not land on you, then wait until they have jumped over you, before continuing onto the right and jumping over an eleventh Fire Log that's rolling towards you. Four more Fire Dead will now drop down from the sky and start jumping towards you; yet again, you must stand in a place where you know they will not land on you and wait until they have jumped over you before continuing to the right and jumping over this twelfth Fire Log that has dropped down from the sky and is rolling towards you from its landing position. Six more Fire Dead in two groups of three will then drop down from the sky and start jumping towards you, as three more Fire Logs drop down from the sky and start rolling towards you from their landing positions - and for a fifth time, you must jump over the Fire Logs to land in a place where you know the Fire Dead will not land on you and wait until they have jumped over you before continuing onto the right and coming up to a little wooden cross in the ground. The Terror Mask will send an orb of energy out to the cross, which will cause Hell Chaos to emerge from the ground while throwing rocks into the air; these rocks will injure Rick if they land on him, so you must stand in a place where you know they won't land on you, before you walk over to Hell Chaos and start to attack him. Once you've hit him ten times, he'll recede back into the ground and attempt to grab Rick with his rotting hands, before re-emerging from the ground on the left side of the screen, while throwing more rocks into the air - and again, you must stand in a place where you know they won't land on you before walking back over to Hell Chaos and continue to attack him. Once you have struck him ten more times, he will recede back into the ground for a second time and attempt to grab you with his rotting hands again before re-emerging from the ground on the right side of the screen while throwing more rocks into the air; for a third time, you must stand in a place where you know the rocks will not land on you before you walk back over to Hell Chaos, and continue to attack him. Once you have hit him ten more times, he will recede back into the ground for a third time, and attempt to grab you with his rotting hands once again, before re-emerging from the ground on the left side of the screen while throwing more rocks into the air - and for the fourth time, you must stand in a place where you know the rocks won't land on you before you walk back over to Hell Chaos and continue to attack him. Once you have struck him ten more times, he will recede back into the ground for a fourth time, and attempt to grab you with his rotting hands yet again before re-emerging from the ground on the right side of the screen and throwing more rocks into the air; for a fifth time you must stand in a place where you know the rocks won't land on you, before you walk back over to Hell Chaos and continue to attack him. Once you've hit him ten more times, he will recede back into the ground for a fifth time, and attempt to grab you with his rotting hands for a fifth time before re-emerging from the ground on the left side of the screen while throwing more rocks into the air - and for a sixth time, you must stand in a place where you know the rocks will not land on you before you walk back over to Hell Chaos and continue to attack him. Once you have hit him ten more times, he will recede back into the ground for a sixth time, and attempt to grab you with his rotting hands for a sixth time, before re-emerging from the ground on the right side of the screen while throwing more rocks into the air; for a seventh and final time, you must must stand in a place where you know the rocks will not land on you before you walk back over to Hell Chaos and continue to attack him. Once you've hit him ten final times, he will recede back into the ground for good, as that song that you were hearing from the Yamaha YM-2151 fades out and a mysterious face rises out of the hole he has left behind - nobody knows what it is, or where it came from, but it has been speculated that it is that spirit of Dr. West, which has finally been freed from wherever it had been imprisoned. You can now sit back and enjoy the ending, which shows Rick standing in front of the burning West Mansion and the Terror Mask upon his face (which has turned red) exploding into eight tiny pieces (but his face is not visible; it is not visible in Splatterhouse: Wanpaku Graffiti or Splatterhouse: Part 2 either, and was originally only seen in Splatterhouse: Part 3's worst ending, but as of the 2010 Splatterhouse it is also seen in that game's opening cutscene):

After the credits have finished, the camera will pan down to all eight pieces of the Terror Mask lying upon the ground, which will reassemble themselves once the song you had been hearing from the Yamaha YM-2151 fades out; the reassembled Terror Mask will then cackle evilly four times, and the word "END" will then appear in the bottom-right corner of the screen before the game goes into high-score mode. Your score will most likely be the highest on the cabinet to date, so you should enter your initials at the top of the table with pride - and once you've done so, the game will go back into attract mode.
