When transporting from the Enterprise to other location, Capt. Kirk will lead a landing party of himself, Mr. Spock, Dr. McCoy and a Security Officer. It is game over if Capt. Kirk, Mr. Spock, or Dr. McCoy die, but it is possible to continue without the Security Officer.

The landing party on Pollux V

Members[edit | edit source]

Party Capt. Kirk The leader of the landing party. Most of the player's actions are performed by Capt. Kirk, with other crew members acting depending on the circumstances.
Party Mr. Spock As the ship's science officer, Spock can analyze things with his tricorder and offers technical and logical advices.
Party Dr. McCoy Doctor Leonard "Bones" McCoy is the Senior Ship's Surgeon and head of the Medical Department. Outspoken and cynical, he delights in battles of wit with Spock, and represents the reverse side of Spock's unemotionalism. For all their verbal sparring, he actually likes Spock. His medical tricorder can detect lifeforms and analyze someone's health. He also carries a medical bag for treatments.
Party Security Officer A different security officer accompanies the landing party on each mission. They are Ensign Everts (Demon World), Lt. Christensen (Hijacked), Lt. Ferris (Love's Labor Jeopardized), Lt. Buchert (Another Fine Mess), Lt. Stragey (The Feathered Serpent, on Digifal), Ensign Bennie (The Feathered Serpent, on Hrakkour), Ensign Mosher (That Old Devil Moon), and Ensign Kije (Vengeance). They are bold and will risk their lives to protect other crew members, usually being the first to be targeted in a dangerous situation.
