When transporting from the Enterprise to other location, Capt. Kirk will lead a landing party of himself, Mr. Spock, Dr. McCoy and a Security Officer. It is game over if Capt. Kirk, Mr. Spock, or Dr. McCoy die, but it is possible to continue without the Security Officer.

Outspoken and cynical, he delights in battles of wit with Spock, and represents the reverse side of Spock's unemotionalism. For all their verbal sparring, he actually likes Spock. His medical tricorder can detect lifeforms and analyze someone's health. He also carries a medical bag for treatments. |

Security Officer | A different security officer accompanies the landing party on each mission. They are Ensign Everts (Demon World), Lt. Christensen (Hijacked), Lt. Ferris (Love's Labor Jeopardized), Lt. Buchert (Another Fine Mess), Lt. Stragey (The Feathered Serpent, on Digifal), Ensign Bennie (The Feathered Serpent, on Hrakkour), Ensign Mosher (That Old Devil Moon), and Ensign Kije (Vengeance). They are bold and will risk their lives to protect other crew members, usually being the first to be targeted in a dangerous situation. |
Commands[edit | edit source]
Movement is done with , while
or space call up the Command Interface, which has different commands available, the cursor changing to a related icon when activated. The cursor will have a red border when placed over something that can be interacted. To close the Command Interface without making a selection, click outside the box, returning to the default Walk cursor.
Inventory[edit | edit source]

An Inventory icon appears in the upper left when using the Look or Use icons, which shows what the party is carrying. Its hotkey is I . There are six default items always available, and each scenario has a different amount of items available.

The crew will reprimand Kirk if he tries to use the phaser when not necessary, and there are cases where misuse can result in a game over. |

All | A phaser set on full power, using a destructive amount of energy that is sure to kill a target. Used to destroy rocks in Demon World. Can also be used as a replacement for the stun setting, preventing disabled enemies from awakening and returning in Hijacked, but it is not recommended as it may lower the score due to being against the Prime Directive. |
