Dagobah can be played by any of the four factions. The map has six CPs. One side starts near a supply depot, whilst the other starts near Yoda's swamp hut. Several other locations from Episode V: Empire Strikes Back are recognizable, such as the underground chamber where Luke had to confront his own dark self, as well as Luke's crashed X-wing. There are no vehicles and only a few scattered ammo- and bacta-droids. The map is highly imbalanced, and the CIS/Imperials will generally quickly establish a permanent advantage without active player intervention on behalf of the Republic/Rebels.

Undergrowth and stumps are everywhere, blocking clear line of fire but offering lots of ambush potential and often making it very hard to see your attacker. There are many pools of water located around the map. They offer excellent cover from enemy fire, since the AI has a very hard time targeting a player crouching in water.

Snipers are very hard to play on this map, close-in fighting is the norm.

Conquest[edit]

The main fighting generally takes place around the downed X-wing and the large tree in the middle of the map. In both locations the CIS/Imperials can generally gain the upper hand quite decisively making even retaking these locations almost impossible.

Enhanced Blasters is the best option for the Republic/Rebels that might have any real impact on the fighting, although the Garrison bonus might help if the player can achieve one of the following feats:

The Republic/Rebel player has several options, none very good:

  • Try bypassing the fight at the X-Wing by sneaking along the extreme edge of the map. This will lead you to a pool of water near a CIS/Rebel CP generating swarms of troops and acting as a staging point. Crouch in the water and blast as many enemies as possible. This will ease things up a bit back at the X-Wing, and hopefully enough extra ammo and bacta kits will drop as they die, so you can hold out here for a while and chalk up a lot of kills.
  • Try holing-up INSIDE the X-Wing. Crouch in the water inside the cockpit, and as long as you are there the enemy can't capture the nearby CP. A blaster pistol is nice as you won't ever run out of ammo, since you definitely won't want to leave cover because you ran out. Practice taking out your opponents with a well-aimed headshot. If you are lucky, the CIS/Imperials will never get a CP advantage, so the rest of the battle will more or less be decided by normal casualty attrition.
  • Try infiltrating through the swamp along the right side of the map all the way to the rearmost CP. You'll probably have a few firefights along the way with unseen enemies in heavy-cover, but if you can make it and capture this CP, you can turn the map imbalance to your advantage. Hopefully you will still have enough reinforcements left to benefit.
