General[edit]

Felucia
World Felucia
Environment Corrosive Fungal Forest
Republic CIS

Rebels Empire

Felucia is playable by all four factions. It depicts an alien jungle-like setting with large amounts of cover. The AI bots really have an advantage over a human here, the foilage makes excellent camouflage and the player has a hard time distinguishing between foe and foilage at anything greater than point-blank range. Because of this, Felucia is a fun and challenging map for both conquest and CFT games.

Both sides have armor, but the CIS/Rebels start with more, giving them a significant advantage. Nevertheless, the Republic/Empire will usually end up winning without player intervention due to the fact that they tend to concentrate all of their attacks on the CIS/Rebel CP at the end of the river, quickly capturing it and thus giving the Republic/Empire the upper hand. However this is somewhat balanced by the ease with which each side can infiltrate to the rear and capture enemy CP's. So the battle assumes a very changing fluid pace, with lots of captures and recaptures before the match is finished.

Conquest[edit]

If you are playing as the Republic/Empire, your CP near the downed gunship is the most vulnerable. However, this area also offers a direct route straight to the CIS/Rebel CP at the top of the large fungal tree along one of its massive protruding branches. So your first priority should be to capture the fungal tree CP before the gunship CP is lost. Your allies should be able to capture the stream CP with ease. Then even if the gunship CP falls, your team still has the advantage in CP's and the enemy reinforcements will begin to automatically fall. After that, I would establish the fungal tree as my main spawn point, and try and stage commando raids to capture other enemy CP's from there.

As the CIS/Rebels you should attempt to press your armor advantage from the beginning, either to overrun the gunship CP or to bring the battle straight to the rearmost enemy CP's on the other side of the stream. Holding the CP at the end of the stream can prove to be quite difficult, as the enemy from lots of different CP's will charge en masse against your numerically inferior forces, and will easily overun them. However it is essential that you do not let the CP fall, or else you will give the Republic/Empire a huge advantage. Be especially careful as the CIS, because your most powerful unit, the droideka, is impractical for Felucia's terrain whereas the Republic's Clone Commanders are very useful.

Capture the Flag[edit]

The battle tends to converge just up the hill from the stream near the destroyed gunship in this 1-flag CTF, and neither side can generally get the flag past this area due to the pitched battle that occurs. However the Republic/Empire possess a slight advantage because it is a bit easier for them to sneak past the CIS/Rebel forces undetected.
