Map of the enclave courtyard

Khoonda Plains[edit]

Unsurprisingly, the path from the left end of the Khoonda plains leads to the left end of the Enclave courtyard. The Enclave itself is to the left, past the Salvager Camp ahead of you, while a Mercenary Camp is at the other end, across the plains to the right.

Salvager Camp[edit]

The salvagers camp around four fires ahead of you. When you first arrive, a salvager stands by the front right fire, Daraala stands by the back right fire between two plasteel cylinders, and Ralon stands by the front left fire. If you speak to any salvager:

Salvager
Taepalae gathered a group to go to the sublevel. They're probably all going to get killed.
Gerevick is not someone you should cross. Ever. He's dangerous.
I hear the laigreks can even talk. They're getting smarter!
That Zherron has the biggest salvage find ever in his office. And he won't let anybody have it!
I wish someone else besides Daraala bought salvage. She's a real miser.
You came back from the sublevels alive! Only been a couple of folks who've done that.
I hear you saved Jorran, not many settlers would help us salvagers. You're all right by me.

Daraala[edit]

Daraala is a merchant, so save game before speaking as most of her inventory is selected the first time you do so.

KotORII Icon Dialog.png Daraala: You a new salvager? Or one of those Khoonda cantina rats coming here to complain.
Dialog
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. I guess I am a salvager. Technically. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. I'm not a salvager. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. I'm just visiting.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Daraala: We don't need another one. Look around this camp. We got the salvaging more than covered. KotORII Icon Dialog.png Daraala: Oh, is that so? You're no mercenary and with those armaments this isn't a social call. You're at least thinking of heading to the ruins.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Daraala: I'm going to give you some advice - turn back. There's nothing you're going to find.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. Why don't you think I will find anything?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Daraala: Because anything valuable in the ruins was carted away months ago. The only salvagers left are either desperate, ornery, or not right in the head. And while you look dirty enough to be here, I don't think you're any of those things. So go back to Khoonda.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. Surely there's something left.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Daraala: The only thing left is the sublevel. And that's crawling with laigreks. And those things are smarter than half the salvagers here. Though that don't take much. And don't be asking any pesky questions. You're new and no one is going to help you out.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. Why won't anyone help me?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Daraala: Because there isn't enough salvage to share with the people already here. And a hungry newcomer is about as welcome as a diarrhetic Hutt.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 4. I don't need your permission to go to the ruins.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Daraala: You don't look like you're going to crawl around the ruins. If you want to go to the sublevel, you are going to need the Administrators permission, though.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. How do I get that? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. I already have that.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Daraala: She'll never give you permission. Might as well get on your spaceship and leave Dantooine. You're not wanted here. KotORII Icon Dialog.png Daraala: Well you're welcome to go down there and die. The laigreks are hungry and could use a treat.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. I'm going to the ruins. I've come a long way. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 5. I'll be going now.

Otherwise:

KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. What do you do around here?
Dialog
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Daraala: I've been here the longest, and I'll be here last. I buy Jedi salvage from the ruins. Slow business now, but I get by.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. Who do you sell it to?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Daraala: Sometimes I sell them to visitors like yourself. Besides, that's none of your flaming business.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. Can I see what Jedi artifacts you have for sale?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Daraala: You should've let me know you're a customer, instead of letting me think you're some disease-ridden salvager. Let me show you what I've got.

The rest of her inventory was selected when you first spoke. This selection is limited to Jedi items: only the first five Jedi robes and the first two Jedi armors can be selected, as can the first seven lightsaber upgrade items other than power crystals (first fifteen).

Jedi robe or armor Color crystal Power crystal
01 Padawan Robe Crystal, Blue Crystal, Adegan 08 Crystal, Bondar
02 Dark Padawan Robe Crystal, Green Crystal, Rubat 09 Crystal, Velmorite

07 Jedi Robe Crystal, Silver Crystal, Phond 14 Crystal, Eralam
15 Crystal, Stygium

Other lightsaber upgrade items aren't listed as they can all be created at a Workbench. However, there's a 40% markup and you can't sell items to her.

Jorran[edit]

If Jorran returned to the salvager camp from the Enclave sublevel, then you'll find him standing to the right of Ralon by the front left fire:

KotORII Icon Dialog.png Jorran: I feel much better now, thanks to you. I don't think I thanked you properly down there. I was pretty shaken. KotORII Icon Dialog.png Jorran: It's you again. Thanks for helping me out down there.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Jorran: I found a few Jedi artifacts down in the sublevels. I was planning on selling them to Daraala, but I'll sell them to you if you want them instead. KotORII Icon Dialog.png Jorran: I still have those Jedi artifacts I found for you. If you don't want them I can sell them to Daraala. KotORII Icon Dialog.png Jorran: I really hope the Jedi salvage you bought was worth it. I meant what I said about no returns, though. I need the money to go home. But it's nice to see you again, regardless.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. I'm here about Suulru's moisture vaporator.

You can only ask this once you've spoken to Suulru back in Khoonda and asked if there's anything you could do to help. Otherwise:

KotORII Icon Dialog.png 4. Can you tell me about the laigreks?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Jorran: They like tunnels and we never saw much of them except underground in the hilly regions. I guess to a laigrek the sublevels must be like paradise, though.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. What were you doing in the sublevel? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. What were you doing down there in the first place?
Dialog
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Jorran: It was all Taepalae's fault. She said the entry way to the sublevel was safe enough. That area has hardly been explored. We barely got in there then everybody started going left and right grabbing anything they could. It was every man for himself and nobody was watching for laigreks. Then before you know it we were under attack by those beasts. So salvagers were running every which way and they left *me* to die.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. Why were you down there if it's so dangerous?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Jorran: All the easy pickings have been picked. Now everything that's worth more than a glass of juma juice is long gone. So the sublevel is about the only place that's left. And as you might've noticed it's very dangerous down there. Almost nobody's managed to get anything from down there. Not that it matters.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. I want to talk about something else.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Jorran: Whatever you want to know. I owe you.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. Did you find anything? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. Did you find anything down there?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Jorran: I think I was the only one that managed to find anything worth something down there. A crystal and a couple things that look like they go in a lightsaber.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. What do you mean by that?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Jorran: Even the sublevel was ransacked long before the salvagers came here. The uppity Administrator says her people never went down there, but that's just a pile of kath droppings.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. Almost nobody...? Who's the almost? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. You said almost nobody got anything from here. Who did?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Jorran: Nothing gets by you, huh? There was a group that managed to get in and got one of the best hauls ever. Taepalae said we could do that, too. But they were a damned sight more organized then we were. And they've caused more problems dead than they ever did alive.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. How did they die?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Jorran: They were the first to really get anything from this damned level. They were so confident they went right back in. A bunch of us salvagers waited by the entrance. Only two of the four came back, and one died right away from his wounds. The other man was going to be rich. But then he picked a fight with Gerevick. It wasn't much of a fight. Then there was no one left. And that's the whole problem.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. How can dead people cause problems?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Jorran: Well since every last one of them is dead, their find is sitting in the militia's headquarters. That's one of the biggest claims ever and they won't give it to nobody. So people keep saying that they were owed by the dead salvagers. Or that they're related. But Zherron isn't an idiot. The only thing he's going to believe is a will. And after some tried to pass less than authentic ones off on him, now he'll only take a will and their personal effects.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. Daraala asked me to look for them. To lay them to rest.

Save game before buying the Jedi artifacts from him:

KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. How much do you want for the Jedi artifacts?
Dialog
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Jorran: I found three things down there. One's some sort of crystal and the others look like lightsaber parts. If you give me 1000 credits, you can have it all. That'll be enough for me to get off this rock. No returns on this, you're stuck with what you buy.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. Can I see them first?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Jorran: Doesn't work that way. Maybe it's worth a lot more than 1000 credits and you make off real good. Maybe it's a lot less, and I make off good.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. I'm afraid I don't have that kind of money. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 4. I'd like to think about it.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Jorran: I'll hold onto it, then. If you want to by it later, just meet me back here. KotORII Icon Dialog.png Jorran: Just don't take too long. I'll have to sell it to Daraala eventually.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. Here's 1000 credits.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Jorran: Haha... A pleasure doing business with you. Now I can finally get passage back home. I hope that junk is worth it to you, I really do. Come back any time. It'll take me awhile to get everything set straight.
KotOR Icon Credits.png Credits Lost: 1000 Item(s) Received Jorran Item(s) Received Jorran Item(s) Received Jorran

The lightsaber upgrade item received depends on your experience level:

At level 28 and beyond, if an energy cell, emitter or lens is selected then nothing is received. However, since all of these can already be created at a Workbench, if you receive one you may want to load game until you receive a power crystal instead:

At level 25 and beyond, if a power crystal is selected then nothing is received. A color crystal is always received, and a second can always be selected. However, if an upgrade item normally selected is already in your inventory, then the next highest you don't already have is received instead: this should not happen for any in lightsabers equipped by you or your party, or in containers elsewhere.

Farm Equipment[edit]

KotORII Icon Dialog.png Jorran: Oh, that again? I sold Suulru the moisture vaporator in the same condition it was in when I found it.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. How do you explain the missing modulator?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Jorran: Dunno, it just must have fallen out somewhere. I came across it later.
Awareness 1. [Awareness (9)] That is not the whole truth.
Dialog
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Jorran: All right. Daraala got there before me and she just took the modulator, because she was loaded down with the other stuff that Suulru abandoned. But after I sold the farmer back his moisture vaporator, I won the modulator from Daraala in a game of stones.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. Don't you think it's despicable to make someone buy back their own possessions from you?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Jorran: Finders keepers. I've got a permit that allows me to salvage anything on the enclave grounds. I didn't make up the laws here, but I abide by them all the same.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 4. I don't care. Just give me the modulator.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Jorran: You're a bit demanding, aren't you? If you want the modulator, I'll sell it to you for 500 credits, the same price I offered to Suulru.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 6. Fine, here's 500 credits. KotOR Icon Credits.png Credits Lost: 500

However, he'll give you the modulator for free if you use the Force, and even give you 500 credits if you can dominate minds:

Low (Affect Mind) 1. [Force Persuade] You will give me the modulator.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Jorran: [Success] I'll give you the modulator.
Low (Affect Mind) 1. [Force Persuade] You will give me 500 credits.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Jorran: [Failure] I'll give... Wait a minute. What am I thinking? You're not taking my credits, and if you want the modulator, you'll have to pay!
High (Dominate Mind) 1. [Force Persuade] You will give me 500 credits. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. Thanks for the modulator!
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Jorran: [Success] I'll give you 500 credits. KotORII Icon Dialog.png Jorran: Huh? Did I just...? You're welcome, I guess.

If you can't dominate minds but try it anyway then you get nothing, but there are still multiple opportunities to persuade, lie to or intimidate him. He can be persuaded to give you the modulator, or at least halve the price:

Persuade 2. [Persuade] I saved your life. You owe me better than that.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Jorran: [Success (21)] Okay, here's the modulator and thanks for saving my life. But do me a favor and don't ask for any more favors!
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Jorran: [Success (12)] All right. Just for you, I'll knock the price in half. That's 250 credits. Take it or leave it. KotORII Icon Dialog.png Jorran: [Failure] I'm thankful for what you did for me, but I really need to make enough money to get off this planet.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. I'll take it. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. I don't have 250 credits.
KotOR Icon Credits.png Credits Lost: 250 KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. No thanks.

If you can lie then he gives it freely, and can also give 500 credits:

Persuade 3. [Persuade/Lie] Can your conscience live with dooming Farmer Suulru, his wife, eight children, and handicapped grandmother to starvation?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Jorran: [Success (21)] Gee, I never thought of it that way. Here, take the modulator, and 500 credits, and tell Suulru I'm really sorry. KotORII Icon Dialog.png Jorran: [Success (12)] I guess I was being overly selfish. Here, take the modulator back to Suulru. KotORII Icon Dialog.png Jorran: [Failure] Nice try, but your sob story was just a little too over the top to be believable.

If you use Suulru to intimidate him then you only get the modulator:

Persuade 4. [Persuade/Intimidate] Suulru is a former soldier, you know. He's hinted that he might try to take matters into his own hands.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Jorran: [Success (12)] Okay, I don't want any more trouble. Here's the modulator. KotORII Icon Dialog.png Jorran: [Failure] Ha! I'd like to see him try to attack me in a camp full of scavengers!

If you threaten him then he can be persuaded to give you both the modulator and 500 credits, and you can always intimidate him to give you the modulator, but after the threat you won't be able to talk to him about anything except the modulator:

KotORII Icon Dialog.png 5. I could take the modulator from your dead body, if you prefer. KotOR Icon Dark.png Dark Side Points Gained: -2
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Jorran: With all these people around? You wouldn't dare!
Persuade 1. [Persuade/Intimidate] Do you really think these people can stop me? I got through the laigreks, didn't I? Strength 2. [Intimidate] Yes, I would dare. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. Ah, you're not worth it. I'll be going now.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Jorran: [Success (21)] Okay, take the modulator! And the 500 credits! Please don't hurt me! KotORII Icon Dialog.png Jorran: [Success (12)] Okay, okay. Here, take the modulator. Please leave me be!
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Jorran: I don't have anything to say to *you.*
Journal Entry Added Farm Equipment: Bonus Mission
You convinced Jorran to give you the modulator for Suulru's moisture vaporator.
Journal Entry Added Farm Equipment: Bonus Mission
You convinced Jorran to give you the modulator for Suulru's moisture vaporator, and the 500 credits he extorted from Suulru.
Experience Points (XP) Received:
  • 150 Convinced Jorran to give you modulator
KotOR Icon Credits.png Credits Received: 500
Item(s) Received Jorran
  • Vaporator Modulator
This is a missing component from Suulru's Moisture Vaporator that is preventing it from working.

Return the vaporator modulator to Suulru back in Khoonda to move closer to the light side of the Force, receive a set of blaster pistols and at least 400 XP. Otherwise, if you haven't threatened Jorran then you can speak to him again:

KotORII Icon Dialog.png Jorran: Back again, huh? I don't know what more I can say to you. But it's nice to see you again, regardless.

Ghosts to Rest[edit]

KotORII Icon Dialog.png Daraala: If you're not going to listen to anybody, maybe you can help me out. The only place that has anything is the sublevel. And only a couple of fools have gone there. And they're now dead fools. Yeah, I'd like to do the decent thing and get their bodies and put them to rest. That hole isn't a fit place for a salvager. So if you find a couple human corpses down there just grab their gear and their bodies. I'll pay you 500 credits for each of them.
Awareness 1. [Awareness (11)] That seems unusually generous of you.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Daraala: Us salvagers that are still here have to stick together.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. I'll be going now.
Journal Entry Added Ghosts to Rest: Bonus Mission
Daraala says that the most valuable of the remaining salvage is in the lowest sublevel. The upper levels aren't even worth searching anymore. She told you that the two salvagers died in the sublevel and she'd like to get a hold of their bodies and personal effects to put them to rest.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Daraala: You still lurking around here? Just go back to Khoonda. You're not going to find any Jedi artifacts here. Except the ones I'm selling. KotORII Icon Dialog.png Daraala: What... ? Who is that? Oh, it's you. You go down into the sublevels yet? Or did you suddenly develop some sense.
Dialog
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. You sell Jedi artifacts?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Daraala: I didn't mention that before? I'm the one people sell their Jedi salvage to. You should've said you were interested in buying.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. I'd like to see what you're selling.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Daraala: Certainly. Take your time, look through the pile.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. I'd like to talk to you about the dead salvagers.
Dialog
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Daraala: It's a shame about them. Have any luck getting to their bodies? I figure there's about no chance you'll succeed, but the reward is still open.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. I'm still looking for them. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. Never mind. I'll be going now.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Daraala: Yeah, well good luck with that. Do you want something else?

If Jorran returns from the Enclave sublevel to the salvager camp, then he can tell you the real reason Daraala is looking for them if you ask what he was doing in the sublevel if it's so dangerous, who almost nobody is and how dead people can cause problems, before telling him that she asked you to look for them:

KotORII Icon Dialog.png Jorran: She was playing you for a fool. Haha. No doubt she'd like to find those bodies. That plus a conveniently worded will and she'd make a pile of credits.
Dialog
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. Her deceit won't gain her anything. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. She's going to pay for that.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Jorran: Probably not since you know the truth. Unless you're willing to make a fake will, though, the truth won't help. You look like the type of moron that'll just turn it in to Zherron. That may be the "right" thing to do, but it don't make it the smart thing. KotORII Icon Dialog.png Jorran: I don't want nothing to do with that. The salvagers will all help her, and the militia will get involved. You can't hurt her directly.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 6. I'll be going.
Journal Entry Added Ghosts to Rest: Bonus Mission
Apparently Daraala wasn't telling you the full story. Jorran told you that Zherron, the leader of the Khoonda militia, is holding onto the belongings of the salvagers who died in the sublevel. Unless someone finds their bodies and a will, no one will get their claims.
Experience Points (XP) Received:
  • 100 Told real reason Daraala is looking for bodies

You can now confront Daraala with this if you talk to her about the dead salvagers:

KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. Jorran told me the real reason you're looking for them.
Dialog
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Daraala: I should flay him alive for helping an outsider! I figured it was worth a try. Those salvagers are worth more dead than they ever were alive.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. Your compassion is touching. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. I don't plan on helping you deceive Zherron. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. I plan on taking their salvage for myself. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 4. You're not going to get away with it.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Daraala: I look after myself, it's the only way you can get by in this galaxy. Now get out of my sight. KotORII Icon Dialog.png Daraala: You're not seriously thinking of turning the bodies in to Zherron? Then no one would get the salvage. Don't be a fool. At least if you give it to me you can make some credits. KotORII Icon Dialog.png Daraala: I hope the laigreks make short work of you, outsider. Goodbye. KotORII Icon Dialog.png Daraala: You? What are you going to do about it? You attack me and everybody on the planet will be gunning for you. I'm important here. Get out of my sight.

This doesn't prevent her from giving you a reward if you return the bodies to her:

KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. I found their bodies.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Daraala: You have? You managed to find them down there? You're tougher than you look. I have 1000 credits for their bodies and their personal effects.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. I think I'll hold onto them.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Daraala: Suit yourself. But who else will want a couple corpses?

Zherron? Otherwise, turning down a reward is only an option if Jorran hasn't told you the real reason Daraala was looking for them:

KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. I require no reward. Give them a good burial. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. Here you go.
KotOR Icon Light.png Light Side Points Gained: +4
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Daraala: And no reward, too? Heh heh. You've proven very helpful. I have to go take care of something. I'll talk with you later. KotORII Icon Dialog.png Daraala: You've proven very helpful. Heh. I have something I have to do. Come back if you want to talk again.
Journal Entry Added Ghosts to Rest: Bonus Mission
You've returned the two bodies to Daraala. She offered you a reward, but you turned it down.
Journal Entry Added Ghosts to Rest: Bonus Mission
You've returned the two bodies to Daraala. She gave you a reward.
Experience Points (XP) Received:
  • 300 Returned two bodies to Daraala
KotOR Icon Credits.png Credits Received: 1000

Daraala now leaves the Enclave courtyard, but if you do likewise then she's back when you return: when you speak it will be like the first time, but items are selected for her inventory again, in addition to those already selected. If you speak to her again:

KotORII Icon Dialog.png Daraala: What... ? Who is that? Oh, it's you.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Daraala: So you managed to get all the salvage, eh? That's our livelihood you're stepping on. You should watch yourself. Dark Side Points Gained KotORII Icon Dialog.png Daraala: You were really helpful. Heh heh. What do you want? KotORII Icon Dialog.png Daraala: I heard you turned in the corpses to Zherron. What a waste. You could've been rich, you fool. Light Side Points Gained

Ralon[edit]

KotORII Icon Dialog.png Ralon: Ah, a visitor comes to our delightful salvager camp. We are honored. Do you come bringing your credits and curiosity?
Dialog
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. It's a pleasure to meet you. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. Credits and curiosity? Are you selling something? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. Fortunate? This camp smells like the back end of a bantha. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 4. Get to the point.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Ralon: A civilized person with manners. Very rare in this part of the galaxy. I am most honored to meet you. If I may... KotORII Icon Dialog.png Ralon: Am I that transparent to you? Apparently this is so. I am Ralon, known throughout this camp for the many artifacts of value that I have uncovered. An expert, this is certain. KotORII Icon Dialog.png Ralon: This saddens me to hear. True this camp isn't as opulent as you are used to with your offworld notions of comfort and decadence. But this is a place of people who toil. KotORII Icon Dialog.png Ralon: Brevity is indeed an understated virtue. I will get to, as you say, my point.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Ralon: A question I pose to you, traveler, do you wish to buy one of the most elusive of all Jedi artifacts? A powerful Jedi holocron.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. You found a holocron? I'm impressed. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. How much do you want for it?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Ralon: You flatter me, traveler. It was a good day when I found this holocron. But you are lucky, for I will sell it to you for a low price. KotORII Icon Dialog.png Ralon: A shrewd question from a discerning mind. My price will be very low. You could sell it for thousands.

Otherwise:

KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. Fabled and powerful? Isn't that an exaggeration?
KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: That is no exaggeration, Jedi holocrons are tools of instruction, of value to any who study the Force. If this... *man* has one, it is worth his price. KotORII Icon Handmaiden.png Handmaiden: I'd be surprised if the ruins have any holocrons left. They are rare - and others have no doubt been thorough in searching the ruins. KotORII Icon Disciple.png Disciple: I'm surprised if the ruins have any holocrons left. They are heavily sought by Jedi Masters.
KotORII Icon G0-T0.png G0-T0: Objective truth is irrelevant. It is beneficial to reduce the seller's confidence in the quality of the item for sale... or reduce their life signs if they will not negotiate.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Ralon: This is no idle boast, traveler, but a fact. A holocron is easily worth many thousands of credits. But I will sell it to you for a low price.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Ralon: I ask a mere 1000 credits for this rare find. This is not a matter of negotiation. You should buy it quickly before others come.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 4. I'm not interested. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 4. I'm not interested right now.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Ralon: You are passing up a real opportunity. But if at any time you change your mind, do not hesitate to ask.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 5. I'll be going now.

If you speak again:

KotORII Icon Dialog.png Ralon: Ah, the traveler has returned. I hope that Dantooine is providing suitable distraction and entertainment for you.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Ralon: So what shall we talk about?
Dialog
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. Can you tell me about the planet?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Ralon: There isn't much to see around here. The planet is very lightly populated by settlers, mercenaries, and us.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. What are the settlers like?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Ralon: They want nothing to do with us. The only thing they want is a part of our profits. And now that salvaging is running out, I doubt they will tolerate our presence much longer.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. What are mercenaries doing on Dantooine?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Ralon: I do not know, nor care. They are trouble, but fortunately they ignore us. When they are looking for work they mainly bother the settlers.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. What can you tell me about the salvagers?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Ralon: We come from many different planets, drawn to the rumors of fortune. I believe the early salvagers did make some credits. But latecomers like myself barely find anything. The early salvagers said that the ruins were mostly empty to begin with. Many think that the Administrator didn't allow us to salvage until her people were done with it.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. I have to go.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. I'd like to talk about the holocron.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Ralon: I still have it right here. You are fortunate that no one else has purchased it yet.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Ralon: I ask a mere 1000 credits for this rare find. This is not a matter of negotiation. You should buy it quickly before others come.

You can waste 1000 credits if you lack the awareness to inspect it before taking it, and don't ask any questions:

KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. I'll take it. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. I don't have enough credits.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Ralon: Your wisdom is immense. Here is the holocron. Now our business is complete and we can talk of other things. KotORII Icon Dialog.png Ralon: Now then, your situation's not so different from mine. Perhaps when you get enough money you can return. There is a fortune to be made.
KotOR Icon Credits.png Credits Lost: 1000

If you talk about the holocron again:

KotORII Icon Dialog.png Ralon: I hope you've enjoyed your purchase.
Dialog
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. Did you know the holocron was a fake? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. The holocron isn't real. It's a fake. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. I'm here to get my money back.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Ralon: I am not a Jedi so I couldn't say for certain. But I had a suspicion. But that doesn't matter.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Ralon: All sales are final, I'm afraid. You should take the matter up with the militia. But they will say the same.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. But you sold me a fake! KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. You're nothing more than a thief. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. I'm a dangerous person to cross.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Ralon: And you bought it. That is your problem not mine. You should be more careful with large purchases in the future. KotORII Icon Dialog.png Ralon: Salvagers have been selling outsiders precious 'artifacts' for a long time. Do not make this worse than it has to be. KotORII Icon Dialog.png Ralon: I... I believe you. But fortunately the militia and salvagers don't appreciate violence even here.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Ralon: There is nothing more I want to discuss. Take the matter up with Zherron the head of the militia. But you will not like what you hear.

You can not actually take the matter up with Zherron back in Khoonda, but you can with his deputy, Berun Modrul (for all the good it will do). Otherwise:

KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. If it's worth so much, why not ask for more?
Dialog
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Ralon: A discerning question. The reason is simple. The market of buyers is limited on Dantooine. If I were on Coruscant, I could make a fortune with this. My dilemma is I lack the funds to travel. So I cannot reach a better market, so my price is reduced. But you travel and surely you could find a Jedi buyer.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. Surely someone else here will buy it? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. Why hasn't anyone else bought it?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Ralon: They know of my predicament and would seek to savagely reduce my profits. You shouldn't associate with such... unpleasantness.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. It sounds like you've fallen on hard times. Can I help?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Ralon: Can you help? Yes, you can buy this excellent holocron. Although your profits are astounding, my share is plenty.

If you told him earlier it was a pleasure to meet him or you were impressed he found a holocron, then when you ask if you can help:

KotORII Icon Dialog.png Ralon: Can you help...? You are a curious person, too kind to be in this sector of the galaxy. Forget the holocron, traveler. I apologize for the deceit. It was sold to me with false pretenses and I have been forced to continue this cycle. Dantooine has been the pit of misfortune for me.
KotOR Icon Light.png Light Side Points Gained: +2
Dialog
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. Why the change of heart?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Ralon: Settlers treat us with scorn and disdain. Parting them with their money is almost a service. You have shown more civility than I've ever seen on this planet. But I still must try to get enough money to leave here.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. How much money do you need?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Ralon: 500 credits. Probably a small sum to you, but for me it might as well be the price of a star cruiser.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. You were lying to me? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. Why did you lie?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Ralon: The less said of that the better. I am one step lower than a beggar, I know. I just need money to get off this planet.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. Can we talk about something else? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 4. I've got to go.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Ralon: Certainly. I apologize again for my actions. KotORII Icon Dialog.png Ralon: No hard feelings, right? Just trying to make a living.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. Here's 500 credits. Just try to do something worthwhile with it.
KotOR Icon Light.png Light Side Points Gained: +4 KotOR Icon Credits.png Credits Lost: 500
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Ralon: You are most kind, traveler. You have given me a chance to go home. Here, take the fake holocron, I don't need it any more.

You move closest to the light side of the Force, at the cost of 500 credits. Otherwise:

KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. Can I inspect the holocron? Maybe it's broken.
Awareness Ralon: Ahh, I assure you it isn't. I will show it to you presently. As you can see it is in fine shape. A real bargain at a mere 1000 credits.
Awareness 5 Awareness < 5
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. That *is* a remarkable fake, but it's not even worth the time you've wasted describing it. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. It looks to be in good shape.
Dialog
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. How isn't this your fault? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. That's all you can say?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Ralon: This forgery has passed through several hands in this camp. I am merely the latest victim. I wish to abandon this dung heap.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. I thought this was a "delightful camp".
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Ralon: Be serious, any sentient with scent glands can tell this is the garbage pit of Dantooine.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. So you didn't make this?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Ralon: No, of course not, another salvager sold it to me. And he bought it from another one before him. When there were more salvagers, incidents like this were common. But now there are few of us and I am stuck with this garbage. There's no way I can make it home to my family and children.
Awareness 1. [Awareness] I doubt you even have a wife.
Dialog
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Ralon: You with all your 'observations.' I'm not going to talk to you about the holocron any more.

Otherwise:

KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. Wife and children?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Ralon: A tragic tale I will not bore you with. I came to make credits to get us out of our sad state. But I have lost everything and more. Our family will be sold to the Hutts.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. How much money do you need?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Ralon: Just 500 credits and I'll be able to go home to my family.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. Do I look that gullible?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Ralon: Fine, this is going nowhere. Let's talk about something else if you won't believe me.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. Here's 500 credits. Just try to do something worthwhile with it.
KotOR Icon Light.png Light Side Points Gained: +4 KotOR Icon Credits.png Credits Lost: 500
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Ralon: You are *most* kind, traveler. You have given me a chance to be with my family. Here, take the fake holocron, I don't need it any more.
Dialog
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 4. I want to talk to you about something else.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Ralon: Do not be too angered with me, traveler. I - I merely sought to try and improve my desperate situation.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 5. I'm leaving now. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. You're lucky I've got better things to do with my time. I'll be going. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 4. I've had enough of this. I'm leaving.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Ralon: No hard feelings, right? Just trying to make a living.

Otherwise, you can simply not buy the holocron, or move closer to the dark side of the Force if you just take it:

KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. Actually I *can* blame you. Violently. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. I am holding you responsible. By force if need be. And when I say 'force,' I mean 'Force,' understand?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Ralon: I apologize immensely. But surely you recognize that attacking me here will pose problems. The militia and salvagers will hunt you.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. Give me the fake holocron. Now. KotOR Icon Dark.png Dark Side Points Gained: -4
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Ralon: I will n... Very well, take it. Leave me to my poverty and my suffering.
Have you come to join the others and mock my misfortune? Go away. You have added to my already considerable troubles.
Item(s) Received Ralon
  • Fake Holocron
Close inspection reveals that this isn't a real holocron, but an excellent fake. It's obvious whoever made this had a sample of a real holocron to work with. This would fool anybody except a Jedi or an expert.

How ever you get the fake holocron, it's actually worthless: you get nothing for it if you sell it, although doing so will at least remove it from your inventory.

Enclave[edit]

As you travel left past the Salvager Camp, you're given a sweeping view of the ruined Jedi Enclave: cross the bridge over the river to the left to enter its courtyard. Down the path to the left, a pack of three kath hounds and two horn kath hounds stand between you and the door to the upper level of the Enclave.

However, if you try to open the caved-in door in the right wall:

The door to the upper level of the Enclave won't open. Judging by the damage to the exterior, it is completely caved in.

Enclave Sublevel[edit]

As you go down the path to the right of the bridge into the courtyard, Taepalae and three other salvagers run toward you from the entrance to the Enclave sublevel:

KotORII Icon Dialog.png Taepalae: Who are we missing? We're one off...
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Salvager: We're missing Jorran. I don't see Jorran.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Taepalae: That runt of a kath hound, *he's* the one with the backpack! Did anybody grab anything from the room? Anybody?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Taepalae: What do *you* want?

She's looking for an outlet for her anger, and you can give her one:

KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. I want you out of my way. Now.
Dialog
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Taepalae: So the pup thinks she can start bossing us around. Watch yourself. We've been here a lot longer. Lots of possible accidents if you cross us. KotORII Icon Dialog.png Taepalae: So the pup thinks he can start bossing us around. Watch yourself. We've been here a lot longer. Plenty of "accidents" happen to people that don't respect the rules.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. So what is your problem, anyway? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. You obviously have *no* idea who you are dealing with.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Taepalae: All I see is fresh meat for the laigreks. Don't even think of threatening us. That's a battle you can't win.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. This is pointless.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Taepalae: I don't have time for this. Jorran is on his own. If he can survive all those laigreks let him keep the flaming artifact.

Otherwise:

KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. I'm heading for the ruins of the Enclave.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Taepalae: You won't find *anything* there except on the lowest sublevel. And there you'll only find death. Laigreks are everywhere.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. What's the problem? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. What happened?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Taepalae: I manage to get this sad lot of salvagers to work together. Then we get two rooms into the sublevel and we get swarmed by laigreks. And even then we fight our way out. But of course the only one that managed to grab the salvage is still in there. I don't even know why I bothered.
Dialog
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. Where is he? I might be able to save him.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Taepalae: I'm not going to tell you that. If you do rescue him you'll just have to claim on the salvage. Jedi artifacts are rare enough these days without some newcomer coming in. So stay out of it and we won't have a problem.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. What can you tell me about laigreks? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. Are you going back for him?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Taepalae: Nothing. Find out for yourself. I'm not interested in training the competition. KotORII Icon Dialog.png Taepalae: Are you kidding? Course we aren't! He's on his own. I only wish he didn't have the salvage on him.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Taepalae: Now if you don't mind, we're going someplace you can't eavesdrop on us and get down to our business.

They run back to the Salvager Camp, where they now stand around the back left campfire. If you speak to Taepalae there:

Jorran knew the risks. He wouldn't do anything different if he were in our situation.

If you do so after Jorran returns from the Enclave sublevel:

Jorran says you saved him down there. Next time you should ask for a reward. You saved Jorran, huh? Hope the reward was worth it for saving that sad excuse for a salvager. You must have saved Jorran. He didn't want to talk about what happened down there. He looked scared.

The security door in the left wall is locked until you've spoken to the Administrator, Terena Adare, back in Khoonda and got permission to enter the Enclave Sublevel.

Khoonda Plains[edit]

Unsurprisingly, the path from the right end of the Khoonda plains leads to the plains to the right of the Enclave courtyard. There's a Mercenary Camp to the right as you enter, but the Enclave itself is across the plains to the left, past the Salvager Camp. Two kinrath and four viper kinrath wander the plains between these two camps: suprisingly, kinrath are poisonous but viper kinrath are not.

Mercenary Camp[edit]

The mercenary camp is at the right end of the plains. Dopak and another mercenary stand by the fire on the right:

Mercenary
I can't wait for those salvagers to ship off this planet. They smell it up.
Gerevick is dangerous, he dueled a mercenary. It wasn't even a contest.
I get tired of clearing out the kath hounds from our perimeter. The plains are just full of them.
That Ithorian in Khoonda is a flaming lucky pazaak player. If he bets for real money he just doesn't lose.
I'm thinking of "visiting" some of the local settlers. Running low on supplies. Heh.
With our new par- Heya, outsider. You should leave our camp.
Nobody crosses us and lives. You've been warned.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Dopak: You've wandered into the wrong camp. You got the look of a warrior, and we got all the blasters we need.
KotORII Icon Mandalore.png Mandalore: I know how this works. A mercenary or two can easily get work during the dry times as a bounty hunter or bodyguard. There's always odd jobs around. But large mercenary groups have to wait for things to get interesting to make their credits. It can be very lucrative and challenging work if there are battles to be fought.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Dopak: If you're looking for work, too, just take a trip spaceward. We don't need any more competition, got it?
Dialog
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. I'm not looking for work. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. You don't think I'd make a capable mercenary?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Dopak: Then maybe we can get along just fine. KotORII Icon Dialog.png Dopak: Capability's got nothing to do with it. We don't have room because there's no work right now. If we get a contract, come back. You look like you might be tough enough. But only come back if you're not too particular on who you fight for or what you're fighting. We'll take any contracts we can get right now.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. I heard you've been making trouble for the settlers.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Dopak: What if we do? They're practically begging to be pushed around. You've seen them, right? They're *weak.*
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. Their skills may not lie solely in warfare. This isn't a failing. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. They're also pathetic. I think you have the right idea.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Dopak: You sound like a flaming Jedi. I didn't just mean their weapons. I meant their character. They're very quick to blame everyone but themselves for their problems. So the galaxy has dealt them a bad hand. They should ante up and get back in the game. The Administrator is different. KotORII Icon Dialog.png Dopak: You're really not so bad, you know? They make our life difficult. They need to learn respect for those with superior strength.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 4. What do you think about Dantooine?
Dialog
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Dopak: It's just another spaceport to me. We've been here too long for my tastes. And the settlers...
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. Why choose Dantooine as your base?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Dopak: We have to live somewhere, something those settlers don't seem to understand. That flaming Administrator and her kath hound Zherron can't keep their noses out of our business. There's a natural order to things that they just don't seem to get. They'll learn.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. What are you planning to do?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Dopak: Just make sure these settlers know their place. The "Republic" isn't going to send a single trainee to help this planet.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. What about the settlers?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Dopak: It galls me to think we fought wars to protect gizka like them. They don't do anything to help themselves, and they don't know how... how to take responsibility. They're on their own. And either they should start working and stop whining, or else they're in for a tough ride.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. What do you think about the Administrator?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Dopak: She's got spirit. But she seems to focus most of her effort on trying to get us off this planet. Terena has to learn that we aren't moving.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 4. Can we talk about something else?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Dopak: I have time to kill and talking about Dantooine just irritates me.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 5. Can you tell me about the mercenaries?
Dialog
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Dopak: Most of us are veterans of the Jedi Civil War. Some even fought in the Mandalorian Wars. A lot of soldiers have been looking for a place in the galaxy. The really skilled usually wind up here.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. Who's your leader?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Dopak: A sentient by the name of Azkul. He was an elite trooper for Malak during the Jedi Civil War. He knows how to wage war.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. Why haven't you been able to line up a job?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Dopak: We had a contract with the Republic doing some work in the Outer Rim. But they scaled back and we were some of the casualties. Now the Republic isn't hiring any more. I hear they have no credits.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. So what do you do when you're between jobs?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Dopak: We find ways to divert ourselves. A lot of us find odd jobs. There are many more mercs around than what you see on Dantooine. We're spread out.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 4. Can we talk about something else?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Dopak: I have time to kill.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 6. I'll be going now.

If you persuaded Zherron back in Khoonda to trust you after telling him Berun asked you to investigate him, then you can give Dopak his message:

KotORII Icon Dialog.png Dopak: I don't suppose you're here to hire us. It's been a long time since we've had a paying job. Some of us are getting jumpy.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. I have a message for you. From Zherron.
Dialog
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Dopak: What does the militia have to say to us? Any of our men get into trouble?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. The message is just for you.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Dopak: I *know* that, but keep it quiet. What did Zherron say?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. Do you know what this about? Zherron wouldn't tell me.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Dopak: If he didn't tell you, I won't either. Could you just tell me what he said?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. He says, "Go ahead."
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Dopak: I think that Zherron is three cards short of a pazaak deck. You can tell him you've delivered your message. Thanks, now get out of here.

Esok and two other Mandalorians stand by the fire on the left:

I'm not paid to talk to you. Move along.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Esok: Can I help you?
Dialog
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. What are a bunch of Mandalorians doing on Dantooine?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Esok: Just trying to make a living. At least there's still people in the galaxy who know our value. It's not glamorous work, but a man has to eat, right?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. You could join the Mandalorians on Dxun.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Esok: I've heard the rumors, too. There's no way I'm going to fight for some upstart warrior who styles himself as Mandalore. We didn't pick a new Mandalore when the last one was killed, and maybe we're better off without one.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. I'll be going now.

If Mandalore is in your party:

KotORII Icon Dialog.png Esok: Look who's walked into our camp, boys. Mandalore himself has come to visit us.
Dialog
KotORII Icon Mandalore.png Mandalore: I am the new Mandalore. I have reclaimed Mandalore's helmet, lost after our defeat at Revan's hands. Assemble the rest of your clan. You will return to Dxun. We must come together as we were before and prepare to fight a new war - a war that will return us to glory.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Esok: And if I take that helmet from you, guess that makes me the new Mandalore? I've always wanted to be called that. I know all about your exploits, "Mandalore." We have fallen far in the past years, but even still, I will not stand idly while a usurper claims to be my leader.
KotORII Icon Mandalore.png Mandalore: It is unfortunate that you feel that way. Perhaps I'll be able to change your mind.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Esok: We'll see about that.

KotORII Icon Mandalore.png Mandalore: Any other takers?
Dialog
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Mandalorian: No, Mandalore. We will follow you.
KotORII Icon Mandalore.png Mandalore: Good. I have no desire to spill any more Mandalorian blood today. Gather your clan and return to Dxun. You have seen the last of your mercenary days.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Mandalorian: Yes, Mandalore.

Nallek stands at the front of a swoop bike by the left wall, another mercenary to his right:

KotORII Icon Dialog.png Nallek: Smells like another salvager's come to our camp. Vacate, mudlicker. Don't make me tell you again.
Dialog
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Dopak: Ease off, Nallek. There's better sport than this one.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Nallek: I don't need help to take out a mudlicker. Yeah, I'm talking to *you.*
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 5. I'll be going.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Nallek: And just keep going. You don't want to get into trouble with us.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Nallek: Just stay out of my way, mudlicker.

Otherwise:

KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. I have no problem with you.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Nallek: But *I* have a problem with *you.* Flaming outsider taking away our work. This is mercenary territory and we don't want anyone getting in our way. We're the real boss on this planet. So stand clear of us.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. I heard the Administrator runs this planet.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Nallek: You serious? The settlers are no more than herdbeasts. Her handful of militia don't run this place. We do.
Persuade 1. [Persuade (11)] Like your friend said, I'm not a salvager. I'm a warrior, like yourself. Persuade 1. [Persuade (11)] I'm not here to cause trouble. I'm a warrior like yourself.
Dialog
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Nallek: [Success] You fight in any wars? I fought in the Jedi Civil War. I guess you don't look like much of a salvager. KotORII Icon Dialog.png Nallek: [Failure] I'm a real soldier, and you're just a trainee with a dart gun. Don't you *dare* compare yourself to me.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 4. I'll be going.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Nallek: Stay out of our way and we'll stay out of yours. That's the best deal you're going to get here.

If you were persuasive, then when you continue:

KotORII Icon Dialog.png Nallek: The warrior returns. Getting tired of this planet yet? We've been planet-bound too long for my tastes. What do you want?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. Which side were you in the war? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. Which side were you on during the Jedi Civil War?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Nallek: Sides don't matter much, we're all soldiers. Most of us mercenaries worked with the Sith. Not too many Republic soldiers survived the war.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. Why did you want to fight me? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. Why did you want to fight me before?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Nallek: I thought you were one of those useless salvagers. Or perhaps an uppity settler. I've had about enough of their attitude. So I figured blasting one of them would do me some good. Been awhile since we had work.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. What are you mercenaries up to?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Nallek: You were a soldier, too. You know I'm not going to answer you.
Low (Affect Mind) 1. [Force Persuade] You want to answer my question. KotORII Icon Dialog.png Nallek: I-I want to answer your question. My head...

If you aren't persuasive, then you can still use the Force:

Low (Affect Mind) 1. [Force Persuade] You don't want to fight. You want to answer some questions.
Dialog
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Nallek: I... don't want to fight. What do you want to know?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. Why did you want to fight me?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Nallek: You either one of those useless salvagers or uppity settlers. I've had *enough* of your type.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. Have you mercenaries done anything to the settlers?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Nallek: All the time. They tell us to be careful. Just scare them and make sure we get anything we want. Except Khoonda we got everything under control. There's been a couple of people we had to get rid of. But I wasn't on those trips. Azkul's got it all figured out.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. What are you mercenaries up to?
Dialog
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Nallek: I don't know for sure. I heard rumors. I heard we got a secret job working with some powerful organization. No one tells me who. I know we're planning an attack soon. But I don't know against who. They aren't too far, though, because we're expecting to attack soon.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 4. I'll be going. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. Any idea who you are working for? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. Any hint at all who you're attacking? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. That's enough questions.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Nallek: I told you what I know. Someone rich and powerful. We're not going to have to hit up settlers for food and supplies any more. KotORII Icon Dialog.png Nallek: We're preparing to attack soon. So they have to be in this sector of the galaxy. They're being very quiet about who the enemy is.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Nallek: I don't feel so well. I feel dizzy. I gotta go now.

Otherwise, if you don't want him to answer some questions then you can use the Force to have some fun with him instead:

KotORII Icon Dialog.png 4. You want to fight *me?* You're as dumb as you look.
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Nallek: Wh-What? I'm a veteran of the Jedi Civil War. I fought dozens of battle-trained Republic soldiers. You're going to die.
Low (Affect Mind) 1. [Force Persuade] Let's have some fun. Hand me your gun. KotORII Icon Dialog.png Nallek: Here. Here's my gun.
Low (Affect Mind) 1. [Force Persuade] Now hand me your credits. And *never* speak to me again. KotOR Icon Dark.png Dark Side Points Gained: -2
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Nallek: Here's my credits. I can't.... KotOR Icon Credits.png Credits Received: 275
[Nallek seems afraid of you. He can't seem to say anything to you even if he wanted to.]

Otherwise, you can engage him in combat:

KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. A mudlicker? Is that even an insult? KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. You have *never* fought someone like me. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 3. You're not worth it. I'll be going. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. Your mind is beyond weak. Now let's fight.
KotOR Icon Dark.png Dark Side Points Gained: -2
KotORII Icon Dialog.png Nallek: You've given me all the excuse I need, outsider. You're dead now.
