Part 1 (Bud, continued from Area 52)[edit]
Once the cursor has reappeared on the screen, you will have to make Bud walk down, go west three times, and take the hose pipe (he will disconnect it from the tap it is hooked up to); once you have done so, you shall have to make him walk south twice, go east six times and use the rock (he will push it off the end of the seesaw it is balanced on, causing the skeleton on the other end to collapse when it hits the ground). You shall then have to make Bud take the skull of the skeleton, walk to the left, go north three times, walk up and talk into the ear trumpet (it's also advisable to save your progress here):
Part 2 (Etno)[edit]
Once the cursor has reappeared on the screen Etno shall have three seconds to escape the giant toaster he has ended up in, so you will quickly have to make him walk down and use the spring (he will climb on to it, and it will propel him into the air and out of the toaster); once he has landed, you will have to make him walk down, then walk up into the teleport pod (he will reappear in another one inside Area 52's gear room). You will now have to make Etno use the moving platform (he will walk onto it and it will move upwards) - and once you have done this you will have to make him walk down, climb up the ladder, walk down, and climb up the stairs. You shall now have to make Etno walk to the left, down, and to the right onto another moving platform (which will, again, move upwards when he steps onto it); once you have done so, you will have to make him walk to the right, down, and to the right onto a third moving platform (which will, once again, move upwards when he steps on it). You'll now have to make Etno walk to the left and up, climb another ladder and take the rat that is jammed in the gears - and once you have done this, the rat will say "Thanks dude!", and walk away off the left side of the screen. You will then have to make Etno retrace the path back down to the second teleport pod, walk onto the small (non-moving) platform, and press the green switch (the gears shall start turning, causing the rock Bud mentioned in the last cutscene to open up); once you have done it, you will have to make him press the red switch, walk back to the right off the small platform and down, press the switch on the wall (which will cause the octagonal door to its right to open) and enter the sieve (he shall come out in the second of the four escape pods). Control will now be switched back to Stereo without a cutscene.
Part 3 (Stereo)[edit]
Once the cursor has reappeared on the screen you shall have to make Stereo walk down, then walk up through the doorway into the next room (they will come out in the third of the four escape pods); once you have done so, control will switch back to Bud (who is still at the ear trumpet) without a cutscene.
Part 4 (Bud)[edit]
Once the cursor has reappeared on the screen, you shall have to make Bud walk down and to the right, go east, go north, go west, and walk to the right; once you have done so, you will have to open the inventory, and use the hose pipe on a second tap (Bud will connect it to the tap). You will then have to open the inventory again, and use the skull on the hose pipe (Bud will use the skull to bite off the end of the hose pipe, then hold onto it as he jumps into a hole and drops onto the ground at the bottom of it) - and once you have done so, you can make Bud walk up through the door if you wish (he shall get beaten up by an unseen individual inside before coming out again). But regardless of whether you made Bud do this or not, you shall now have to make him walk to the left onto a conveyor belt that will carry him over to an upward-moving escalator; once he has reached the top, you will have to make him walk down, go through the door on the left to the next room (which is the room with the four escape pods containing his friends), walk down and use the control pad under the portrait of Dr. Sakarin (he will place his hand on it, causing all four of the escape pods to open, and his friends to run out of them):
Part 5 (Candy)[edit]
Once the cursor has reappeared on the screen, you can make Candy use the couch if you want (he will climb onto it, then immediately get off); however, regardless of whether you made him do this or not, you'll now have to make him walk down, go downstairs (by sliding down a ladder and through a hole) and go downstairs again (by sliding down another ladder and through another hole). You will now have to make Candy walk down, jump downstairs (into a third hole), use an elevator (which shall go up as soon as he steps onto it) and walk to the right (the door to another elevator will automatically slide up as he approaches it, then slide down again as the elevator goes down a floor, and the door on the floor below will automatically slide up as he walks out of it before sliding down again) - and once you have done so, you will have to make him take the barrel (he will automatically carry it back to the base of the rocket), take the pipe (he shall connect it to the barrel, causing fuel to start flowing through it to the rocket), walk back to the rocket (by climbing up a third ladder) and back to the left, and use the hand wheel (he'll jump up and turn it). You'll now have to make Candy go back upstairs by climbing up the second ladder and use the red lever (he will pull it, causing the machine to turn on); once you have done so, you will have to make him go back upstairs again by climbing up the first ladder, walk back down, and use the ignition switch (he shall press it, and the game shall proceed to its ending sequence):
Credits (Dreamcast and Mac OS only)[edit]
After the credits (which are not present in the Windows version) have finished, the game shall return to the main menu and remain there; in the Windows and Mac OS versions, you will now have to click "Quit" (or press
) if you want to exit the program, then confirm your choice by clicking "Yes" (if the option is present in your copy of the Dreamcast version it shall just return you to the title screen, and either way you shall have to switch off the console).
