On this stage, the distance between Gibson & Broady's 4-wheel-drive jeep and the unnamed criminals' ones starts at 2565, so they take longer to reach.
Once Gibson and Broady have reappeared on the screen the shutter of their four-wheel-drive jeep's garage will slide up as they get into the jeep and the camera zooms in on its windscreen from behind; you will then have to step on the gas pedal to accelerate it, then shift into high gear once it has reached 200 km/h (100 mph in the US version). Once you do so, the camera zooms back out on the jeep as a helicopter flies into view from behind above it while trying to drop bombs on it and the text "WATCH OUT FOR THE REAR!" appears on the screen - and you shall then have to turn to the right as you pass under four bridges and four randomly-generated cars (the amount of points you will receive for passing them starts at 200 for the first one and increases by 200 for all subsequent ones until you hit one). The helicopter will then fly off into the distance, as the camera zooms back in on the jeep's windscreen and the jeep flies over a lake; once it has landed on the other side it shall drive into a tunnel. Once you have come out of the tunnel you will have to turn to the right again, as you pass two more randomly-generated cars and drive into another tunnel - and once you have come out of the second tunnel, the jeep shall start driving over a bridge as the helicopter crashes up through it, then fly over the hole it has made. Once you have landed on the other side, the helicopter shall fire a barrage of shots at the jeep which will shatter its windscreen while trying to drop more bombs on it; once you have driven over another bridge, you shall have to turn to the right as the helicopter crashes into a third tunnel, bursts into flames and falls to the ground. Once you have driven into and come out of the third tunnel, you will crash through a roadblock of three barriers and a "DANGER!" sign, and drop down off a cliff onto a third bridge - and once you've driven over it you shall have to turn to the right as you pass a seventh randomly-generated car and under four fallen tree trunks before crashing through the gates to the criminals' hideout and crashing through two barrages of six oil drums. The time will then be extended to 60, 65, 68 or 71 seconds, depending on how the cabinet's set, as the text "WE FIND THE CAR OF CRIMINALS!" appears on the screen and you come to the criminals' three jeeps (the first one is indicated by an arrow with the text "REMAINING 2" above it). Once you have rammed the first jeep twice to throw it off the road you will drive out of the criminals' hideout as another arrow with the text "REMAINING 2" above it appears above the second one - and once you've rammed it twice to throw it off the road, an arrow with the text "REMAINING 16" above it shall appear above the third one as you drive into a fourth tunnel. Once you have rammed it twice (you shall receive 2000 points every time you ram it) you will come out of the tunnel and the chase will continue on the mountain road and through a fifth tunnel; once it's down to eight rams your own jeep's bonnet shall fly off. Once the damage meter for the criminals' third jeep is completely filled it shall burst into flames and stop as the camera zooms back out on your own jeep again; the screen will now cut to a shot of Gibson and Broady arresting the unnamed driver of the last jeep as the text "YOU ARE ARRESTED ON TERRORISM OF USING EXPLOSIVE SUBSTANCES!!" appears upon the screen. The text "STAGE 2 COMPLETED" will then appear at the top of the screen as you receive a "Clear Bonus" of 20000 points and a "Time Bonus" of 5000 points for every second you have remaining - and the text "NEW YORK" shall now appear upon the screen with the two texts "DATE 20/09/93" and "04:02 PM" under it followed by a shot of the third stage's again somewhat unusually-named criminals, J. Jlo (born 1973), Somgsa (born 1969), Skjln (born 1967), Y. Sjma (born 1970), Frajk (born 1971), and G. Rjgt (born 1973) kidnapping a woman from her boyfriend at knifepoint and the Taito Monitoring System as Nancy appears upon its screen and the following text appears below her:
A picture of the third stage's target car will now appear at the top of the Taito Monitoring System's screen as the texts "TARGET:", "COLOR: PURPLE" and "TYPE: '86 AMERICAN SPORTS CAR" are displayed upon it while six mugshots of the criminals (with their names and ages to their right) appear below them; the game will then proceed to the third stage, which will see Gibson and Broady switching back to their old red Nissan 300ZX from S.C.I..
