Stage 6-1[edit]

  • Princess Cats, Spearmen, and Buffalo Bison comprise the enemies on this stage. If the cats petrify you, the Spearmen will have an easier chance to stab you, so stay clear of the beams.
  • This is the first stage to feature a moving kind of terrain. The platforms in the lake rise and sink. If you set foot on those blocks, your score will flash and increase. The flash indicates an event that will take place for the next couple of seconds: a series of Extra Balls will begin to appear on the screen. Capture as many as you can.
  • There's a hidden 1-Up at the north end of the lake. You can punch it into appearance from the north bank.

Stage 6-2[edit]

  • Only two types of enemies occupy this stage, Buffalo Bison and Wild Cats. You'll need your sword to deal with the cat heads, and it can help against the Bison as well. Beware of the occasional Inazuma Lightning attacks and the Uni-gon. You'll have to be on your toes and be prepared for any change in the situation.
  • A set of invisible pits occupy the rows with the blocks in them. If you collected the candle from Stage 5-2, you will be able to see their location. If not, simple be careful of those two rows and jump across them to be on the safe side.
  • A bonus room can be found near the top of the screen. It is the icy floor type with two rows of spaced out bullets.

Stage 6-3[edit]

  • You will be facing Spearmen, Buffalo Bison, and Medusa Cats on this stage. The Medusa Cats represent the biggest threat so watch out for their bullets.
  • There are some more moving platforms on this stage, and they are even easier to access than the previous ones on Stage 6-1. Take a ride across them for extra points and a stream of Extra Ball appearances.
  • If you happened to miss the Crystal Ball earlier, there is one more chance for you to collect it if you ride across the right moving platform and punch the space in the middle of the pond.

Stage 6-4[edit]

  • In addition to the Buffalo Bison and Medusa Cats, you will be facing Dragons once again. While not as aggressive as Uni-gons, they are no less difficult to remove from the stage.
  • This is an excellent stage to trade in six money bags for a Power Ball if you can afford to do it. You will complete the stage much more quickly if you have the ability to knock out every enemy, including Dragons with a single punch. Hang out by the warp tunnels as the enemies will tend to group there.
  • The only item that you can obtain from this stage, a supply of Miracle Kicks, isn't even found in a block, but rather in a tile next to the left pond.
