Ending Routes[edit]

Masoukishin II is nice in that there’s only one point in the game where the stage numbers can become skewed – there’s a secret stage 8 where if you don’t get it, then stage 9 will be “stage 8″ on your game, stage 10 will be “stage 9″, etc. This chart will number assuming you did get this stage.

There are three endings in Masoukishin II, and they each begin to split off from the main route at Stage 27. However, you’re locked into which ending you’ll get at stage 13. As such, it’s important to know what ending you want to get early, and plan for it.

North Route: the least “canon” ending and shortest route. Fail to meet the conditions for Precia Route, and choose “North” (北部だ) after Stage 12. If your Stage 13 is “The Impeccable Plan of Barom” (神算鬼謀のバロム) you’ll be getting this ending.

Precia Route: Have Precia fight Volkruss on Stage 1, and Olf (ウーフ) on Stage 7. This unlocks the secret stage 8 called “The Unpardoned” (赦されざる物), where you have to have Precia fight Volkruss again. This will lock you into the Precia Route ending, and your stage 13 should automatically be “Precia and Elsine” (プレシアとエルシーネ)

South Route: The most “canon” ending and longest route. Fail to meet the requirements for Precia Route, and choose “…South.” (…南部だ) after Stage 12. If your Stage 13 is “Shutedonias Divided” (シュテドニアス分裂) you’ll be getting this ending.
