Controls[edit]

  • Handlebars: Use the handlebars to steer your bike (white for Players 1 & 5, red for Players 2 & 6, black for Players 3 & 7, and green for Players 4 & 8) left and right, just as you would with any real motorcycle. Unlike in the two Final Lap games, the player bikes are not affiliated with specific teams.
  • Gas Pedal: Step on the gas pedal to accelerate your bike. The harder you step on it, the faster your bike goes (until it hits another bike or billboard).
  • Break Pedal: Step on the break pedal to decelerate your bike. The harder you step on it, the slower your bike goes until it stops moving completely.
  • Hi/Lo Shift: Use the gear shifter to change the gear that your bike is driving in (as with both Final Lap games, you should start it out in low gear and shift it into high gear once it has reached 100 km/h). Unlike in FL2 the position of the shifter is not displayed in the bottom-right corner of the screen.

Player Bikes[edit]

From left to right: White (Player 1 and 5), Red (Player 2 and 6), Black (Player 3 and 7), and Green (Player 4 and 8); they again aren't affiliated with specific teams.

CPU Bikes[edit]

EH CPU Bike.gif If a single player is playing the game alone, then his position in the race will never change from 1/1, regardless of how many of these blue CPU-controlled bikes he passes; however, if multiple players are playing this game simultaneously when four two-player cabinets are linked together, and any of the other players are ahead of the first player at any time, the first player's position will be 2/2, 3/3, 4/4, 5/5, 6/6, 7/7 or 8/8.
