Game Main Page[edit]

What kind of information belongs on this site? Its not partz of the guide and should probably be spoiler free. Also if I only write a poition of one subpage is ok too? 4 hours per page is far too long for a constant input. :D Jesthor (talk) 11:31, 14 October 2017 (UTC)

Since you started this guide, you are presently the "resident expert" on Dark Souls III. You can add as much or as little as you think is necessary for both beginners and experts to learn what they need to know about the game. Spoiler free is preferable, but not a standing rule. We have a {{Spoiler}} template if you want to hide information from players who don't want to see things too soon. As far as what else to put, you can look at some of our complete guides and our featured guides for examples. You are encouraged to steal liberally from them. And lastly, don't burn yourself out. Set a goal for what you want to accomplish in a day, meet that goal, and then give yourself a break. You're already doing an amazing job. Keep up the great work. Procyon 00:08, 15 October 2017 (UTC)
Sorry, I misunderstood you in my first response. I didn't realize you were asking only about the main page. The main page traditionally consists of a three or four paragraph intro to the game. Usually whatever is contained at the top of Wikipedia is a good example. And you are correct, it's not part of the guide, and should be spoiler free. You do not have to complete every subpage you work on. You can do a bit of it at a time, and save what you have done so far. Every page on the site is considered to be a "work in progress".Procyon 00:11, 15 October 2017 (UTC)
