A few things[edit]

I just did a serious re-write of the entire article. From what I could see, its major problems included:

  • Items listed out in a series of key points, rather than full prose
  • A slight bias towards the OMD, given that the points seemed to focus mostly on the restrictions on ROO members.
  • A lack of general information about the factions (which was why I uploaded images of the faction logos in an earlier revision)

Unfortunately, this article would have any justice without spoilers, so I tried to write it as best I can without revealing too much information, while still setting the correct atmosphere for the article (for those who don't play Drift City, the aim of the article is to aid users in their decision between the two factions at the relevant mission rather than providing a general background) and hence the article assumes knowledge up to the "Choice" mission, but contains spoilers from further on inside the {{spoiler}} template.

Hopefully I've addressed those points, but I might say that my knowledge of Team ROO is greater than that of the OMD, since I chose Team ROO myself, and I'd really did my best to keep the article neutral while not doubling over points (see the previous page revision to see what I mean), but if there's any way to make the article more neutral, please add it.

By the way, does anyone (preferably a sysop or someone who knows something about MediaWiki) know how to get the ROO Logo image to actually display? It's a Scalable Vector Graphic (SVG) image, but it only shows when I actually navigate all the way to the file itself. If I remember correctly, SVGs on Wikipedia automatically get converted to a raster (usually PNG) graphic for previews and being embedded into pages, but it doesn't seem that the case is the same here. I'd really prefer not to have to re-upload the graphic as PNG or GIF, so can anyone help on that aspect?

The page looks fine to me. As for the SVG, I have no idea why it isn't rendering. There are a few SVGs on the site that have the same issue. I recommend trying to create the SVG using a different application, such as Inkscape. --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 21:22, 6 June 2009 (UTC)
Yeah the issue is the conversion to ".png". The image it's looking for is here. --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 21:29, 6 June 2009 (UTC)
I've been trying to find an answer, and Wikipedia had this to say, "Due to copyright restrictions, Mediawiki cannot use proprietary fonts that are commonly found on several proprietary operating systems." Therefore, use one of the fonts found here. --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 21:41, 6 June 2009 (UTC)
