Story Section, separate page?[edit]

Perhaps we should move it, because right now you won't notice it's even there unless you scroll down really far. It's short, maybe not enough to constitute its own page but if it's actually necessary maybe it should be integrated into the main part of the article. --Notmyhandle 18:04, 2 February 2007 (CST)

The general philosophy behind subpaging is not to prevent users from ever having to scroll down, but to group concepts together. In just about every guide that I've worked on, I've kept the story together with the introduction because both serve to explain the game to a new player. I'm not saying it's the way every guide should be, but seeing as how the story is short and, let's face it, not really necessary to understand how to play, it should be fine where it is. It doesn't really warrant it's own page, and it doesn't belong on any of the others... Then again, I'm not the final arbiter, I'm just sharing my opinion on the matter. I understand, but wouldn't it be better not to subhead it then? --Notmyhandle 18:54, 2 February 2007 (CST)
If you did, it would no longer match the format of several other guides, such as The Legend of Zelda, Mega Man, and Dragon Warrior. Procyon 19:03, 2 February 2007 (CST)
Problem solved via mimicking The Legend of Zelda. --Notmyhandle 19:19, 2 February 2007 (CST)

Table of Contents split[edit]

I propose splitting the "Super Mario Bros. 2 (Japan) (The Lost Levels)" title and separate walkthrough. Having two separate games listed under the same section makes things confusing. I scrolled down the page and looked at the ToC and had to analyze it for a few seconds, then click on a link to help realize how it was structured. It's stupid to me, but I think it's an issue. It also doesn't seem to follow our current standard using the implementation of Subtoc. --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 06:09, 24 October 2009 (UTC)

Seconded. Needs moar {{subtoc}}. — najzereT 08:15, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
I'm cool with this too. It could be structured very much like SMB1, and it can transclude several of the pages like the Getting Started page, and the Enemies page, since they are (or should be) identical between the two games. That's why they were grouped together in the first place, but I also agree that the ToC is a little misleading. I always think of this games a "Super Mario Bros. 1 Part 2" Procyon 15:29, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
