Character attributes[edit]
Intelligence is the most important attribute for a wizard's apprentice. It determines the starting amount of spell points. Whenver you cast a spell, you use some spell points. [R]est (or [A]ct and lie on a bed) to replenish them to the maximum.
The sum of Strength & Speed determines your starting equipment, and the heaviest weapons and armour parts that you can carry. At the very beginning of the game, [L]ook at the iron chest, [A]ct and open it, [G]et all items in it, then [E]quip them.
Strength alone determines how much damage you can sustain. Together with the weapon you are wielding, it determines damage dealt to enemies.
Speed alone determines the order of initiative during combat. It also determines the probability of running from combat.
Charisma determines your relationship with other characters. In particular, it determines prices of items and services, and also how long a character may stay in the party.

Character creation[edit]
The default character has well-balanced attributes (highlighted in green in the table below). On the character creation screen, you can reduce your attributes to the minimum and redestribute 7 "Potential Points" any way you like. At the beginning of the game, a single attribute can receive up to 4 points.

Character development[edit]
Whenever you complete a quest, the Archmage Eldritch will increase one of your attributes of your choice.
Your maximum spell points will increase if you choose to increase intelligence, but also if you complete some sub-quests.
