Don't get ahead of yourself. It is like Super Smash Bros but has a slight differentiation that fits the theme of TMNT Smash up. Here's a few things to get you started:

  • Make use of poles that you'll swing on if you're in the Manhattan level.
  • Wall jumping is a common thing you need to use. After all, you're also a ninja.
  • Certain major levels except for two (dojo, turtles home) has hazards for you to watch out. Avoid those dangers at all times.
  • Unlike the Smash Bros series, instead of knocking the person, up and out of the screen (with exception with levels that has bottomless pits), once your health bar is gone, you're out depending on what mode you're playing through.
