Summary

This template provides a simple table to be used in the Arena namespace for city-states, towns, and villages. It can also be used for dungeons, but it does not fully work with dungeons yet.

This template requires the following templates:

Parameters

Parameter name	Required or Optional	Description
name	Optional	The name of the place. Defaults to the page name if not specified.
description	Required	A description of the place. Should not include the place name or "is", but should have a trailing period. (e.g. "a village in north-central Hammerfell.")
type	Required	The type of place. Can be City-State, Town, or Village depending on the size on the world map.
province	Required	The province the place is located in (auto-linked).
ruler	Optional	Who the ruler of the location is.
rival	Optional	Who their rival is.
lorepage	Optional	The name of the lore article for the place. Do not include "Lore:", simply include the name. Defaults to the name parameter.
image	Required	The file name of the image, without "File:". Defaults to TES-Arena place name.jpg.
imgdesc	Optional	The description that will appear beneath the image. Not required, but recommended if there is an image. Defaults to the name parameter.
map	Optional	The file name of the world map showing the place (not an actual map of the place), without "File:". Defaults to TES-Arena map province (annotated).jpg.
mapdesc	Optional	The description that will appear beneath the map. Not required, but recommended if there is a map. Defaults to The location of name in province.
loadtext	Optional	The greeting message when you first arrive in the city.
xpos & ypos	Optional	Sets the x and y position of a marker on the map to indicate the place's location. These values are contained within the game's CITYDATA file, but can be estimated if necessary. The default position is the center of the map.
