Coloring[edit]

I think the support/oppose coloring is useful for a first-glance view at how the request is going. The time colors, on the other hand, are probably not useful, so I'd support removing them. Keep the unused templates, though, in case we need something else that calculates time diffs accurately including leap years ;) --Skizzerz 04:04, 22 February 2010 (UTC)

Seconded, per Skizzerz. Also, since the time colors indicate how long the template's been on the page, maybe some accompanying text would help, as no one knows what span of time the color is supposed to represent. — najzereT 01:15, 23 February 2010 (UTC)
We don't usually have more than 1 or two up at a time, meaning that you save very little time going colour-coded. I would also suggest moving them to your userspace if it is agreed to remove them, otherwise they may end up orphaned. -- Prod (Talk) 00:52, 23 February 2010 (UTC)

Now that the colors are gone, should we add code to do what it intended, which I believe was to show time elapsed from the nomination date? Like a simple days-since-nomination formula? — najzereT 15:08, 30 March 2010 (UTC)

Undecided[edit]

Do we really need an undecided row? Undecided people can just leave a comment and not vote. -- Prod (Talk) 18:01, 22 March 2010 (UTC)

It's kind of nice to see how many people are on the fence at a glance to gauge what sort of chance the nomination has, and a lot of the nominations start out with the majority of people in undecided. The nominations would be fine without it, I think, but I wouldn't mind seeing it stay. — najzereT 15:08, 30 March 2010 (UTC)
