I'm having difficulty reading Xbox buttons because the colours are too close to each other. They should refix the colour to make it easier to read and what's the difference between the Xbox and Xbox360 controller. I couldn't figure that out. Johnnyauau2000 23:37, 22 June 2008 (CDT)

Images are shared between the templates. About the images, hopefully someone will come along and modify them :). However, I don't think it's that important, since anyone who has a controller will be able to tell which button to press simply by the colour. -- Prod (Talk) 23:42, 22 June 2008 (CDT)

Recently I did "Enter the Matrix" and for sum reason , they forgot to put in the original Xbox left and right shoulder triggers. The one used in this template is more for Xbox360 than for Xbox. So heed my call: If you are good at images (that I'm not good at), all it needs is the left and right shoulder triggers for the original Xbox controller. Johnnyauau2000 06:44, 1 February 2009 (UTC)

Push-In for analogs[edit]

Like with the PSX, the 360's analog controls can be pushed in and treated as a button. I don't know what the Microsoft name for this convention would be, and most games use an icon to indicate that the analog is to be pushed in, but that control schematic is missing from the template.—WhosAsking 19:11, 17 May 2009 (UTC)

Try {{xbox|L}} for L button and {{xbox|R}} for R button. This differs from {{xbox|Lstick}}, which refers to the analog controller itself. --Sigma 7 19:37, 17 May 2009 (UTC)

Original Xbox Trigger and Duke Button icons[edit]

I wanted icons of the triggers from the Original Xbox Controller (LT and RT is future Xbox consoles) and the buttons on the Duke.

We don't plan to, or desire to, support every variety of Xbox controller on the site. The icons available will be clear to any reader on the site, even if they refer to a different generation of controller than the one they're actually using. These are tools, not historical representations. Procyon 02:25, 18 November 2021 (UTC)
