When it comes to row and column numbers, consider the bottom row as r1 and the left column as c1. Since you can only switch within a row, a move will give a row number and the two columns being switched within that row. Your cursor all the way to the bottom right would be (r1,c56).

Puzzle 1-1[edit]

Puzzle 1-1

Moves required: 1

Naturally the beginning puzzles are simple. They serve more as an introduction to how this mode works. For this puzzle, simply remember that panels must be connected to disappear, and you only have 1 move to do it in.

Solution
  1. Switch the left-most red panel with the empty space to the right of it. (r1,c23)

Puzzle 1-2[edit]

Puzzle 1-2

Moves required: 1

Remember that you have to get rid of all of the panels. If you connect 3, there will be 1 left over, so you have to get all 4 to connect at the same time.

Solution
  1. Move either of the 2 stacked blue panels to the right. The upper panel will drop into place. (r1,c34) or (r2,c34)

Puzzle 1-3[edit]

Puzzle 1-3

Moves required: 1

This shows a common way you may achieve a 6 combo in the other modes. There are two sets of panels now, but still only one move, so they must be cleared at the same time.

Solution
  1. Switch the top pair of panels. (r3,c34)

Puzzle 1-4[edit]

Puzzle 1-4

Moves required: 1

This 10-panel combo you may also run into regularly in the other modes. You may notice similarities with the previous puzzle. Keep this puzzle in mind for another in the near future.

Solution
  1. Switch the middle pair of panels. (r3,c34)

Puzzle 1-5[edit]

Puzzle 1-5

Moves required: 1

This puzzle introduces a chain and how it works. Keep in mind that sometimes all you need is for one set of panels to clear, which can then set up other panels to clear.

Solution
  1. Move the right-most blue panel to the left. After clearing, the upper green panel will fall to match with the other green panels. (r1,c56)

Puzzle 1-6[edit]

Puzzle 1-6

Moves required: 1

This horizontal 6 combo does not appear in a regular game very frequently, but if you ever want to clear a whole row at once, this is the only possible final move (without using a chain) that can do it.

Solution
  1. Switch the middle two panels. (r1,c34)

Puzzle 1-7[edit]

Puzzle 1-7

Moves required: 1

There are a couple ways to match the red panels here, but only one way to match the blue panels in only one move.

Solution
  1. Move the top blue panel to the left so that it drops and matches. (r4,c23)

Puzzle 1-8[edit]

Puzzle 1-8

Moves required: 1

Another version of the 6 combo, with a vertical and a horizontal match.

Solution
  1. Switch the bottom yellow and right purple panels with each other. (r1,c45)

Puzzle 1-9[edit]

Puzzle 1-9

Moves required: 1

There are not enough moves to match the blue panels vertically, so instead, concentrate on the green panels.

Solution
  1. Move either of the 2 stacked green panels to the left. The green will clear and then the blue will match for a chain. (r1,c23) or (r2,c23)

Puzzle 1-10[edit]

Puzzle 1-10

Moves required: 3

This puzzle teaches a very important lesson for the other modes. This situation is easily created, and if you know the solution, you can clear all 10 panels quickly in a game. Do you remember puzzle 1-4?

Solution

The first two moves can be done in either order. The important point is that the last move must be last.

  1. Switch the top pair of panels. (r5,c34)
  2. Switch the bottom pair of panels. (r1,c34)
  3. Switch the middle pair of panels. (r3,c34)

Puzzle 2-1[edit]

Puzzle 2-1

Moves required: 1

You may be tempted to slide the red panel out so that the yellow panels match, but what about the 4th yellow panel? In a situation like this, concentrating on a different color might be just the thing.

Solution
  1. Take the yellow panel that is sandwiched by reds and move it left. (r2,c23)

Puzzle 2-2[edit]

Puzzle 2-2

Moves required: 1

And thus we have a common theme in these puzzles - if solving one color's not working out for you, look at one of the others!

Solution
  1. Slide the bottom blue panel out to the left. (r1,c12)

Puzzle 2-3[edit]

Puzzle 2-3

Moves required: 1

There's no harm in trying a move out. If it doesn't work, no big deal, you get to restart the puzzle anyway.

Solution
  1. Switch the right purple panel with the blue panel to its left. (r1,c45)

Puzzle 2-4[edit]

Puzzle 2-4

Moves required: 2

Something to consider for these puzzles: panels will never move horizontally on their own, only vertically when falling. It can be good to concentrate on just getting panels in appropriate columns so that they may somehow fall into place next to each other. You only need 1 of your moves to get the green in appropriate columns here, so figure out which way will allow you to complete the reds next move.

Solution

You may do these in either order.

  1. Switch the bottom left green panel with the right red panel. (r1,c45)
  2. Move either of the two left red panels to the left. (r1,c23) or (r2,c23)

Puzzle 2-5[edit]

Puzzle 2-5

Moves required: 3

Remember that in multi-move puzzles, X Button or Y Button will undo a move. This can allow you to go partway through the puzzle to help visualize any changes, and then go back if you realize your first moves don't work. This puzzle relates to 1-6 in the same way that 1-10 related to 1-4.

Solution

Dark blue panels must move right, and light blue panels must move left. Again, as in 1-10, the first two moves may be done either way, while the last move must be last.

  1. Switch the first dark panel with the second light panel. (r1,c23)
  2. Switch the second dark panel with the third light panel. (r1,c45)
  3. Switch the middle two panels. (r1,c34)

Puzzle 2-6[edit]

Puzzle 2-6

Moves required: 1

Intimidating? But look, nearly everything lines up, so all you need is to get it started. Is this ever going to occur in a game? Unlikely, but it's not a bad idea to consider high panels for chains.

Solution
  1. Move either of the 2 right dark blue panels to the right. (r1,c45) or (r2,c45)

Puzzle 2-7[edit]

Puzzle 2-7

Moves required: 2

You definitely will need to consider both horizontal and vertical match possibilities for tougher puzzles. Does this puzzle remind you at all of 1-9?

Solution

The moves must be done in this order so that blue will stay on top and green will stay on bottom.

  1. Switch the middle blue panel with the top green panel. (r2,c34)
  2. Move either of the 2 stacked green panels to the right. (r1,c45) or (r2,c45)

Puzzle 2-8[edit]

Puzzle 2-8

Moves required: 2

Although not always true, usually these puzzles will only start to clear after your last move is made, so don't be too quick to make an easy match. This puzzle is somewhat odd in that depending on how you do it, due to timing, you may form either a 7-combo, or a regular match and a 4-combo.

Solution

These may be done in either order.

  1. Move the top red panel over to the right. (r3,c34)
  2. Switch the middle red panel with its neighboring purple panel. (r2,c34)

Puzzle 2-9[edit]

Puzzle 2-9

Moves required: 2

You definitely can't make the yellow panels match vertically, so you will need to set them up horizontally. Also, do you remember puzzle 2-2?

Solution

These moves may be done in either order.

  1. Move either of the 2 stacked yellow panels to the left. (r1,c23) or (r2,c23)
  2. Slide the bottom green panel out to the right. (r1,c45)

Puzzle 2-10[edit]

Puzzle 2-10

Moves required: 2

There are 5 red panels... not enough to make two different sets of them, so they must all clear at the same time. An L-shaped combo perhaps?

Solution

These moves must be done in this order. Otherwise, 3 reds will match before you can make the other move.

  1. Switch the top two panels. (r3,c23)
  2. Switch the bottom left red panel with the bottom blue panel. (r1,c23)
