The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan/Olson

This is one of the two final chapters in Man of Medan, the other being Matters of the Heart. It is triggered by the events of Revenge and Distress Signal; if Alex decided to search for the generator, waited by the radio by himself, or died, then this will be the final chapter. It begins with the player character dropping down the hole in the room in order to investigate a gunshot. Walk down the hall here and then drop down again to find some final collectibles.

One of two collectibles in this chapter, Secret #36, can be found in this locker. The other can be found in the same room.

Follow the path past a room with beds to reach a larger room with beds. At the end of this room, in a locker to the right, is Secret #36: Casket Shortage Memo. In the same room, look to the left wall to find a gold-framed Picture, A Little Hope, teasing the next installment in the series. Opening the door in this room triggers a scene. When presented with a choice, choose to back off and Olson will break down the door. This then leads into the final fight, which takes place in the form of a long QTE. The directions are as follows, though keep in mind that only the final two prompts are necessary to survive:

• Press S to halt Olson's retreat.
• Press A to grab the distributor cap.
• Press S and W to dodge Olson's attacks.
• Choose to be commanding when the other survivor hesitates by the lever.
• Press A repeatedly and then D to escape Olson's grasp and survive.

The End will then play out depending on the events here and previous chapters.
