Fliss[edit]

in the Theatrical Cut, the perspective will switch to Fliss for this chapter, after she and the other protagonists have been sent below deck. When Alex accuses Fliss of working with the intruders, choose to react by being distraught in order to avoid angering anyone further. When the boat rocks, press Cross button to avoid falling over. Fliss is then given access to the radio. She can choose to be compliant by following Olson's instructions or defiant by asking for help. Either way, the outcome will be the same, though Alex will apologize to her later if she shows defiance. The boat rocks a second time after the radio interaction, so press Cross button and Triangle button to keep Fliss steady.

Choose to help Julia as she climbs up the stairs to improve Fliss' relationship with her, pressing Triangle button after the choice is made to successfully complete the interaction and receive her gratitude. Choose to be optimistic when asked about Brad to keep him hidden. The chapter ends with another visit to the Curator; you can ask for a help here and he'll offer a vague hint. If playing Shared Story, making a choice different from the other player's will cause the Curator to comment on both players' lack of cooperation.

Alex[edit]

In the Curator's Cut, Alex remains the player character from the previous chapter. Alex should avoid accusing Fliss of conspiring with the intruders here, as it will negatively impact their relationship. Eventually, the boat will rock, and a frying pan will come flying at Alex; press Triangle button to dodge it. When water leaks into the boat, Alex can choose to help someone (either Julia or Brad depending on the actions of the previous chapter) to improve his relationship with them before taking the stairs above deck. If Brad's location has not yet been revealed, then Alex can encourage the others to keep him hidden.
