In this level you will have to be careful, because the ground is frozen and slippery. Each time you move, you will continue to slide until you try to change direction or jump. On the roof of the houses in front of you there are a cactus cooler and a bronto burger. In the barrel on the ground there are the throwing axes. Watch out for the enemy who shoots at regular intervals; jump over its shots as you approach, then take it out. Proceed to the right, jumping over the cliffs and killing another similar enemy. You will find two more barrels, with the slingshot and a heart. You will encounter a slug, whose attacks push you back, but taking it out shouldn't be a problem. Further on you will have to overcome some small treacherous precipices. There are no ledges to grab onto, so if you fall, quickly call Gazoo and use your wings to save yourself. There is also a cactus cooler in the barrel. Later you will meet Betty Rubble, who will inform you that to get more parts of the time machine you will have to defeat a mammoth.
Further to the right you will find axes in a barrel and an invincible enemy. If you hit it with the club you will disintegrate it, but it will come together again immediately. So take advantage of that short time to move on. You will then have to overcome other treacherous precipices, be careful. The cloud above you shouldn't bother you, but you can eliminate it with an axe. You will come to a stone wheel with a platform. If you hold on to the platform, the wheel will start spinning very fast. You can hoist yourself on the platform, but before proceeding further, it is strongly recommended to reach the recess on the right side of the wheel. In fact, in the two barrels you will find an extra life and the very useful boomasaurus eggs. Then go back and use the wheel (or the hoppasaurus) to reach the path at the top right. Kill the cloud and you will find a barrel with a heart.
The next part is pretty tricky. There are three stone wheels with a single platform in front of you, one after the other, suspended over the void. You will have to jump from one wheel to the other, being careful not to fall and not to hit the stalactites above the wheels, which would make you plummet. To get on the first wheel, it is advisable to drop to the right when the platform is near, to grab it. To reach the platform of the second wheel, you should use the same strategy: when the platform you are on is at the top and the other at the bottom, run to the right to grab it. If you look closely at the movement of the wheels it is not difficult. Better to avoid jumping instead, as you risk hitting the stalactites. To get on the third platform instead, you should jump to the right when the platform you are on is at the lowest point. Once there then, it's very easy to jump right, back onto the ground. Obviously, if you fall, the wings will be of great use to you at this point. On the other side of the precipice it is better not to jump, because you would end up against the stalactites. Neutralize the invincible enemy and cross the small precipice by dropping to the right. Continue until you go down. There is a barrel with a cactus cooler. On the right you will notice a very low passage, but first you can use the hoppasaurus to reach the ledge at the top. You will find a heart, boomasaurus eggs and two bronto burgers. To overcome the very low passage with the stalactites, you will have to take a run up and then crouch before taking it. You will slide to the exit, but always stay down or you will inevitably lose a life. On the other side you will find another bronto burger. Watch out for the enemy shooting above you. Grab the ledge and as soon as his bullet has passed, pull yourself up and kill it. In the barrel you will find a heart to restore energies. Proceed to the right to meet the boss.
Boss[edit]
If you have few coins, the battle with this mammoth can be really challenging. The boss will move from one side of the screen to the other, then stop and fire two shots. To avoid them, you will have to jump. Jumping over the boss while it is moving is very difficult, you will have to calculate the distance well and the frozen ground does not help at all. Also in this case, therefore, it is advisable to hit the boss from a distance, as quickly as possible, with the slingshot or axes. The boomasaurus eggs will be very useful to you and you will only need a few to defeat the boss. If you have a good number of coins, it is definitely advisable to use this weapon, to win the fight easily. If, on the other hand, you have no coins or you can only count on the club, you will have to continue avoiding the boss's attacks, jump over it when it comes towards you and then hit it from behind, also trying to charge more powerful attacks.
