This is the level that appears only in certain versions of the game. Here, you get to sword fight a giant spider, assuming it hasn't silked you already. You also have to levitate down a large hallway, avoiding deadly spider sacks that might have you eaten alive. This level also has a surprising deathtrap which is quite cool, and features the ability to get your character drunk.


You are in a cobwebbed room. You see 2 large holes, and gigantic spider legs emerge randomly from each one. When you enter one of them, the spider will grasp you, so the point is to time you exit right when the legs are not there. So stand in front of one of the hole, and as soon as you see the legs in the other hole, enter.

You are in a room guarded by the giant spider. She is flanked by 2 big egg sacs which you must not touch. When you get too close to the spider, she sprays you with a web. Try to approach her, and as soon as she moves, move away to dodge the web, then as fast as possible approach her to engage into a fight. It's not very difficult to kill her. Proceed to the ladder below.

Here there is a chest, which when you open, squirmings of spiders will consume you. Instead go directly to the bottle lying in the floor (watch out not to touch the egg sac, and if asked to open the chest, select no). The bottle contains alcohol which you must not drink. Instead, approach the chest and operate the bottle to pour it on the chest. Now you can open the chest and you find 80 gold (but as mentioned already, you don't need any more gold in the game) and a levitation spell. Go to the ladder and climb down.

This is a long corridor, but you can't walk as the spiders will consume you. Operate the levitation spell and start flying to the SE. The controls are very similar to those of the flying carpet. The point is not to fly above the egg sacs as it means instant death, so try to steer your way to the SE end of the corridor, trying not to accelerate too much as this will mean bouncing against the walls. The most tricky part is to land right next to the ladder so that you can climb it, without touching the ground.

In the next room you are free to rest and regain any health points which you have lost. Then proceed to the next level.
