Each city in The Mafia Boss MMOG can act as a residence for a player and all his hired help. By accessing the travel tab, a player can relocate his mafia to any of the game cities for a cost of $150 per person. Gulfstream Jets and 737-400s can also be used to transport hired help without having to pay the cost of the plane ticket (see Vehicles).

Traveling is used for different purposes: running away from someone that is trying to kill you, moving to kill someone in another city, or traveling from and to your hometown where your family is located. Being in your own city has pros and cons. A pro is that you're family offers you more protection in your hometown, a con is that its more likely for your enemies to find you!
Information[edit]
The travel page will display certain pieces of useful information, which is helpful when making in-game decisions such as:
- Number of Mafiosos in your current city
- Number of units in your crew
- Number of airplanes usable for transport
- List of possible cities
- Total cost of relocation (Including before and after funds projection)
