In The Settlers III, every nation has the same standard buildings with different costs and look. There are a few building that are different in each nation, too, like the alcoholic productions and certain mines. This page will show the building costs as well as give some descriptions on buildings.
Basic buildings[edit]
Mines and metal buildings[edit]
Note: All mines need food to run. Food is either bread, meat or fish. The sulfur mine also accepts rice or honey. While Asian players can use sulfur for weapons and Egypt players use gems to raise their soldiers' motivation, Amazons only can process both to gold and iron. Gold is used to raise motivation. Every kind of miner has a favourite kind of food:
- Coal miners love bread
- Iron miners love meat
- Gold miners love fish
- Sulfur miners love rice or honey
- Gem miners love fish
Also note the small shields outside the mines on the pictures. These shields (set by geologists) indicate where mining spots are.
Motivation multipliers for Egyptians:
- Gold x 0.5 compared to other nations
- Gems x 2 compared to gold for other nations.
