Sett3 map e8.gif
  • RA = Ramadamses (player) - Team 1
  • TT = Tsu Tang (Asians, enemy) - Team 2
  • S = Septimus (Romans, enemy) - Team 3

In this map the victory condition is to destroy all enemies. The losing condition is to lose the outpost RA5.

Starting conditions: The player occupies five of six islands with some buildings. However, those buildings don't always make sense. On the sixth island, an outpost was built that will need support. What may at first appear to be another island where Tsu Tang has settled, is just a peninsula.

RA1 is in fact two islands, a small one to the east (where you started in mission 7) and a bigger one to the west.

The game once more seems to be badly designed here. One easily can destroy the tower at RA 5 and prevent every enemy attack there. However, if the Asians expand to RA5 spot and occupy it, one will lose the game.

Walkthrough[edit]

The islands are good but improvable. Some suggestions on what should be done.

  • RA5: Destroy the large tower. This way the probability of an attack that will mean a bitter defeat is gone.
  • Options: Set weapon production to swords only.
  • RA1 west: In the barracks, set recruiting to manual.
  • RA2: Keep the grain farm, pig farm and slaughterhouse. It looks quite useless here but don't forget that you'll be able to send water and something to build to that island later. If you don't want to use the island later, it won't hurt to let the buildings stay. Destroy the towers here to free the soldiers.
  • RA3: Destroy the towers here, too. Let the buildings stay again. Reassign the centers of the working fields of the grain farms on RA2 and RA3.
  • RA4: Destroy the tower and build a woodcutter to let it cut all trees. Build a harbor. Set the Geologist to exploring the mountain.
  • RA1 east: Destroy the both eastern towers (let the western tower stay) and build a quarry to the north and a woodcutter's hut to the south. Let it clear some space. Build a harbor to the west. There's only one possibility where to build each building if you do it in this order. When it's built, send all logs and as many stones as lie in the quarry to RA1 west.
  • RA1 west: Destroy all towers. Build a woodcutter's hut in the north and southwest and let them clear space. Build a shipyard somewhere. Reassign the grain farm's working center. Build a large residence in the south east (south of the mountain). Build another grain farm in the south.

Building up a working industry[edit]

Note: When you need tools on RA1 west, let the toolsmith produce it.

  • RA1 west: When the shipyard is built, build a ferry. When the large residence is built, assign some pioneers to conquer the island. As soon as the ferry is built, send all soldiers of all islands to RA5 and build a trading ship.
  • RA1 east: Don't forget to always send the quarry's stones. When the trading ship is built, assign it to the harbor so the goods are transported.
  • RA1 west: When the whole island is conquered, build a harbor somewhere on the east. Change the pioneers back to carriers and create one to three pioneers to explore the mountain. Build a sphinx, a mill and a bakery somewhere. For mill and bakery the place in the southwest should be clear, else wait and build it when it is cleared.
  • Options: Assign bread to iron mines, too. When the fishes run out, you may also send it to gold and gem mines.
  • RA 1 east: Build a pyramid if you want. Try to get a fully functional wood production running here (at least two woodcutters, one forester and one sawmill) so you'll later have a little more space on RA 1 west.

The final war[edit]

  • RA 1 west: Once you weapon production is running (feel free to build further mines if you want) build storage areas to gather weapons. Per harbor, you can send the gems (but not the swords) to another island for storage so you don't need additional storage areas for it. If you want, you can do this for weapons, too, but don't forget to send it back later. Destroy your wood production when all trees are cut on the island and the production is working on RA 1 east. Build up a mana production to get to level three soldier production. Once you can recruit level 3 swordmen, set the recruiting to automatic again and make sure to build enough housings to use enough weapons. If there's pressure by enemies, you should start producing soldiers at level 2.
  • RA 5: Before attacking, wait until your enemies fought each other so most of their soldiers are destroyed. When some of your soldiers are on the island or Tsu Tang threatens to defeat you by expanding too much, you can start attacking. Keep on producing soldiers and attacking until Tsu Tang can't do anything more against you.
  • RA 5: It is possible that the Romans conquered a great part of Tsu Tang's land. So now you're left against the Romans. Build up a strong army and send it from RA 1 west to RA 5. Now fight the Romans. It will take ages but eventually you'll win if you keep on sending more soldiers. You may want to try some strategy like attacking on south and north at the same time or just cutting the Roman land into two parts.
  • Note: The Romans will use their priests to convert your soldiers. If this happens, your soldiers belong to the Roman troops and you'll never get them back. The good news is, eventually the mana cost for this will become too high. You'll need some patience here.
