Continuing[edit]
When the game is over, press and hold 
while pressing 
to continue your game. You may continue from the current stage or any previous stage that you have already cleared. You can select the stage with 
and 
. If you feel you have missed an important item, this is the only way to go back and retrieve it. Items will be replaced, and you HP will start at 1000 while your MP will be at maxmimum. You can perform a continue even if you reset the machine, but not if you turn it off.
