Area 1[edit]

Top time: 08'18"00

The first part of this area is the second to feature a helicopter (but again, you do not have to kill it); also, for the second part of the area, you shall have to release the pedal to hide before two more giant cannons (indicated by the text "DANGER") fire a shot at you. The third part of the area is also the third to feature a helicopter (and this time, you do have to kill it by shooting it thirty times) - however, if you are using MAME, you can only damage it by shooting at the Wild Dog Organization logo on the left side of its tail rotor when it is flying up off the top of the screen (rendering it impossible to finish the game in one coin, so you may wish to activate the "Infinite Time" and/or "Infinite Lives" cheats!). Also, if you take too long, the game may disable your computer.

Once you have cleared this area, the text "AREA 1 CLEAR" will appear at the top of the screen, with "YOUR TIME", "XX'XX"XX" (XX'XX"XX being your current time) and "VS. TOP SPY -/+XX'XX"XX" (-/+XX'XX"XX being the greater, indicated by the minus, or lesser, indicated by the plus, difference from 08'18"00) below it; the text "ACCURACY XX%" (XX% being your accuracy percentage) and (XX/XX) (the two XXs being the number of hits and number of shots fired) will then appear below that and the game shall segue into the second area (unless you were using MAME and it disabled your computer).

Area 2[edit]

Top time: 11'10"00

In the fourth part of this area, you will have to release the pedal to hide before six claws (some of which are holding boxes, while others are not, but all of them are indicated by the text "DANGER") hit you and cost you a life; however, once the sixth one has passed, they will start circling around the room on their overhead rail again, so the risk of being hit by one or more claw will not get eliminated until you have killed all four of the Blue Ippanhei in the room.

TOP SPY -/+XX'XX"XX" (-/+XX'XX"XX being the greater, indicated by the minus, or lesser, indicated by the plus, difference from 11'10"00) below it; the text "ACCURACY XX%" (XX% being your accuracy percentage) and (XX/XX) (the two XXs being the number of hits and number of shots fired) will then appear below that and the game will segue into the third area (unless you were using MAME and it had disabled your computer).

Area 3[edit]

Top time: 11'10"00

The top time for this area is the same as the last one; also, the fourth part of this area is the first to feature Wild Dog (but you will not have to kill him yet). MOZ also reappears towards the end of the area - but this time, he is only accompanied by one Musasabi (however, he still takes three hits to kill again). And in the fifth part of the area, you must hide, before an axe held by a suit of armour (indicated by the text "DANGER") falls on you and costs you a life.

TOP SPY -/+XX'XX"XX" (-/+XX'XX"XX being the greater, indicated by the minus, or lesser, indicated by the plus, difference from 11'10"00) below it; the text "ACCURACY XX%" (XX% being your accuracy percentage) and (XX/XX) (the two XXs being the number of hits and number of shots fired) shall then appear below that, and the game shall segue into the boss area (which is preceded by a sixth skippable-by-shooting cutscene).

Initially, Wild Dog, who you shall have to kill this time by shooting him eighteen times, is not accompanied by any other enemies, but once you have shot him eight times, and the game proceeds to the second part of the area, he will be joined by three Blue Ippanhei, one Red Ippanhei, one Yellow Ippanhei, two Gohei, one Bazooka-hei, two Kakuto-hei, two Machine Gun-hei, and one Musasabi; once you have killed them all, and shot Wild Dog himself a ninth time, the game will proceed to the third part of the area, where Wild Dog is joined by four Taicho, a third Gohei and Machine Gun-hei, four Shin'eitai and MOZ (the last of whom will now only take one hit to kill for a third time). Once you have killed them all, and shot Wild Dog himself a tenth time, the game will proceed to the fourth part of the area - and once you have shot Wild Dog, who will not be joined by any more enemies, eight more times, he will die.

TOP SPY -/+XX'XX"XX" (-/+XX'XX"XX being the greater, indicated by the minus, or lesser, indicated by the plus, difference from 14'00"00) below it; the text "ACCURACY XX%" (XX% being your accuracy percentage) and (XX/XX) (the two XXs being the number of hits and number of shots fired) will then appear below that, and the game shall proceed to the ending sequence (which shows Miller picking up Macpherson, who did not die after Wild Dog shot her in the arm in the cutscene at the start of this area, carrying her into a helicopter, then flying away as the credits begin to roll):

TOP SPY -/+XX'XX"XX" (-/+XX'XX"XX being the greater, indicated by the minus, or lesser, indicated by the plus, difference from 14'00"00) below it; the text "ACCURACY XX%" (XX% being your accuracy percentage), "HITS XXX" (XXX being your number of hits), "DAMAGE XX" (XX being the number of times you got hit), and "SKILL POINTS" (with ten stars, that will light up based on your final time) will then appear below that, and if your time was lower than 15'48"00 (5 skill points), the game will go into "best-time" mode (in which you must enter your initials on the "best-time" table by aiming the lightgun at the letters to select them, and firing it at them to confirm them). The text of "THE END" shall then appear and the game will go back into attract mode.
