The second competition takes place in one of the most scenic areas: under a bridge. Portland's Burnside Bridge has a concrete jungle under it and it invites you to skate. Check out the perilous high ledges as well as the circular eyeball pool.

Strategy[edit]

Grinding a high ledge.

You'll need to score higher than the last competition to make it here and the bails will hurt your score more than before. Skating in the pools is a surefire way to score some points, but be careful when you enter them as it's easy to sway to the left or right, causing you to lose your sense of direction. For that reason, you should avoid the small eyeball pool as it's very easy to crash in there.

There aren't a lot of places to grind, but it's still possible to string a long street combo. In the rectangular pool, there is a part that goes up against the wall where you can grind along a high ledge. There is also a long quarter pipe at the south end where you can grind the lip and jump toward some small ledges on the deck. Remember to do simple flip tricks in between grinds to build up your multiplier.

By now, you should have your character's signature moves memorized, so use two or three of them every session to ensure your score makes it to the 90s. The last two levels will require very high scores, so nailing these special moves will be good practice for what's up ahead.

Gaps[edit]

The Bridge Gap.
  • Bridge Gap: Using the funbox, ollie up high to jump through a small opening in the bridge's supports.
  • Bridge Grind: Using the funbox, ollie up high to jump to one of the bridge's supports and grind the edge.
  • Over Da Pool: There is a wall covered in graffiti along the quarter pipe. Launch from the wall and go over the eyeball pool. It may require a lot of distance for it to register.
  • Transfer: Ollie forward from the quarter pipe into the rectangular pool or vice versa. It can be performed at the short and long sides of the pool.
  • Twinkie Transfer: There is a rounded bump at the north side of the level. Jump from that bump to the rectangular pool. You'll need some speed and a lot of precision to make this transfer.
  • Vert Wall Gap: While in the eyeball pool, launch forward over the small graffiti wall.
