Top Cat (full title: Top Cat in Beverly Hills Cats) is an action game which had been developed by PAL Developments and Twilight for Hi-Tec Software, and released upon the Sinclair ZX Spectrum, Amstrad CPC, Commodore 64, and Commodore Amiga in 1990; it is based on the Hanna-Barbera television series of the same name (which aired on US television from 1961 to 1962, and renamed Boss Cat when it initially came to the United Kingdom, due to a cat food that had that same name).

Story[edit | edit source]
This is from the back of the cassette's (or disk's, for the case of that Commodore Amiga version) inlay card, the front of which is shown in the image to the right (Top Cat stands in front of his Rolls-Royce):
Benny the Ball is left a fortune in
Madam Van Der Gelt's will
because her only rightful heir
Amy is missing. Top Cat and the
gang finish up in Beverly Hills
with Snerdly the butler trying to
get Benny. Can T.C.'s gang save
Benny and find the missing Amy?
