Lise is a decent physical attacker and her spells can be quite useful. All of her final classes have five spells: four spells that increase or decrease attributes and a summon that hits all enemies on the screen. Her status-altering spells can be very useful, especially on bosses. Most of her summons can cause status effects in addition to damage.

Choose the Valkyrie if you want to be able to raise your allies' attributes. One advantage to this choice is that other characters like Hawk (as a Ninja) and Carlie (as a Necromancer) can learn disabling spells, but nobody besides Lise can learn all these support spells. If you use the Valkyrie along with a character that can lower attributes, you can use both of their spells to make an enormous difference during boss fights.
Dark: Rune Maiden[edit]

Choose the Rune Maiden if you want to be able to lower your enemies' attributes. On bosses this is more effective than raising your team's attributes because you must cast the support spells three times to hit all your allies, but disabling spells only need to be cast once.

Unlike all of Lise's other final classes, the Vanadis has an impressive multi target tech. She also has the highest attack power out of all Lise's classes. Her summon miniaturizes enemies, which makes them extremely easy to kill, but also makes them give zero experience; therefore, it's only good for emergencies. Unfortunately, her support spells cannot be cast on all allies simultaneously like the Star Lancer can.

The support spells of the Star Lancer can target all allies, which makes it much easier to prepare your party for a tough boss fight. Her summon can silence enemies, which prevents many enemies from using their most powerful attacks.

The Dragon Master has a summon that can poison enemies; it is both the quickest summon to cast and quickest to learn. She does not learn how to target her disabling spells on multiple enemies, but rarely do monsters need both Power & Mind Down.

The Fenrir Knight's summon, Lamian Naga, does more damage than any of the other summons Lise can learn. The downside is that it is also the only summon that does not cause any status effect. She also learns how to target multiple enemies with her disabling spells, which can be useful when fighting several powerful monsters. For example, it is a good idea to cast Power Down on groups of Nightblades to weaken the power of their Split-Image Slice.
