Controls

• WASD: Controls your direction.
• : Rotates your view.
• : Fires your weapon.
• : Activates your jetpacks.
• Spacebar: Activates your skis.
• Q: Switch to previous weapon.
• E: Use your melee weapon.
• R: Reloads your weapon.
• F: Throws belt item.
• C: Activates active packs.
• G: Enter and exit a vehicle or get repair tool when in front of repair tool dispenser.
• Shift: Zoom in.
• : Controls the level of zoom.
• Z: Drops the enemy flag if you currently have it.
• X: Toggles between first-person view and third-person view.
• Left Alt: Spot enemies.
• K: Suicide.
• Tab: Brings up the scoreboard.
• T: Universal text chat.
• Y: Team text chat.
• V: Bring up the VGS.

Skiing and jetpacking

Skis and jetpacks are iconic features of the Tribes series. Skiing helps the player gains speed while the jetpack let's you gain height. Jetpacking drains your energy. Mastering these two special forms of movement is necessary to be able to do well at Tribes.

Generally, you want to ski down slopes and jetpack when you reach an incline. This helps you build and subsequently keep your speed.
