There are essentially two types of turrets in the game: laser turrets and rocket turrets. Laser turrets are the most common.

Turrets are primarily found in Vehicle CTF and Warfare, one can however be found in DM-Deimos. Turrets attached to a base are only usable by members of that base's team. Turrets attached to nodes are usable by whoever controls the node. Unlike vehicles, turrets cannot be taken over by the other team if a player vacates one.

If a player is utilizing a turret attached to a node, and that node is taken over by the other team, the player will be ejected from the turret.

Destroyed turrets respawn at full health after a short period of time.

Movement[edit]

All turrets are able to pivot to aim within a certain target area in front of them.

Some turrets are also able to move along a track they are mounted on. To move along the track, use the left, right, forward, and back movement keys.

Primary Fire[edit]

The primary fire for the laser turret is a hitscan beam similar to the shock rifle primary fire with a fast firing rate that does equally well against infantry and vehicles.

The primary fire for the rocket turret is a burst of three rockets that fire and detonate where they were aimed. The rockets pack a lot of punch, but the slow fire rate and slow projectile speed make it difficult to score hits against small targets such as infantry, or fast-moving vehicles. They are best against heavy armor.

Secondary Fire[edit]

The secondary fire for both turrets is a zoom-feature that makes it easier to aim for precision shots, but which limits your peripheral vision.

Special Abilities[edit]

The rocket turret has a homing feature similar to the rocket launcher. Keeping an enemy in your crosshairs for a couple of seconds activates the homing sequence, and fired rockets will then home in on them.
