This is identical to the Capture the Flag match, except the maps are larger, vehicles are present, and team members have hoverboards instead of translocators.

Players cannot enter a vehicle while carrying the flag, but they can use their hoverboard.

Goal[edit]

A team instantly wins the match when they score enough points to match the winning score determined by the match settings. In the default campaign, this is typically an odd number such as 3 or 5.

There is also a timer for CTF games, and when it runs out the team that has the most points wins the match. In case of a tie, overtime occurs and the next score wins the match.

Scoring[edit]

A team scores when one of their players carries the enemy flag over their own flag while their own flag is stuck in its base. When a player scores, their team gets a point, and the enemy flag is instantly transported back to its base.

A player who score three times in the same match will trigger the hat trick audio reward.

Strategies & Tips[edit]

  • Most strategies from the normal Capture the Flag apply here
  • A good defense strategy is to have a vehicle that is good against infantry near your flag base, and use it to eliminate enemy flag-stealers after they have picked up the flag, when they cannot be in a vehicle
  • A good offensive strategy is to grapple onto a teammate in a fast vehicle, such as a manta or viper, and get to the enemy flag quickly, steal it, then grapple back at high speed to outstrip enemy defenders
  • You can grapple with the hoverboard onto flying vehicles as well, and be lifted to and from the enemy flag base and over obstacles and walls
  • When defending against an enemy flag-stealer who is grappling, ignore the vehicle and target the grappler with a hitscan weapon; the slightest damage will cause them to fall off their hoverboard and come to a stop on the ground, allowing you to close distance and kill them
