Current project: History Line: 1914-1918 Status on the project: Generally poor.

  • Walkthroughs were made for the 2 first French maps (Batle and Goose) as a proof of concept. Third map was played through and pictures were made, but no text was prepared and notes were lost - map needs to be replayed.
  • The German campaign has 22 maps to be made still and the strategy guides as well. [10 maps and 3 counts are pending publishing]
  • The 2-player maps will be troublesome to get into Completion Stage 3 (which is my goal for the next year), as no real strategy guide can be written (guidelines at best) and the 2-image rule will probably not be met. Any suggestions? [Prod suggested to go with the flow and ignore the rule - which is more of a guideline anyway]

Since walkthroughs are very time consuming to prepare, before I even start making more I'll first finish up mapping and counting the German campaign. I'll do the walkthroughs for French maps on demand no more than one per week. If you wish a particular map to be played through and the strategy described in detail (as was Batle and Goose) - leave a message on my talk page.

To all contributors to the History Line guide: a big thank you! I will try to merge your input with a detailed strategy once I get to making walkthroughs.

I also ask any long-term community member (should one stumble upon this message) to review the proof of concept walkthroughs (Batle and Goose) and tell me if this is the way to go. Perhaps there should be a bullet list for the tl;dr folk (similar to the one Jorres made on Signs) added? Maybe it's too much drivel? Leave your thoughts on the talk pages of these walkthroughs or on my talk page.
