Walkthrough link

Hi Axiomist. If I understood your question to Moydow, you were wondering about the difference between the Walkthrough link, and links to specific areas. In order to create a consistent format across the site, we make sure that every guide has at least two links in addition to the introduction page; Getting Started and Walkthrough. Sometimes, some games (primarily early games) are small enough that most of the information can be contained in those two pages. If a game is bigger (like every Kirby game), the Walkthrough needs to be broken up over several pages, but we still insist that the Walkthrough link be made available so users know where to start. In those cases, the Walkthrough page is a great place to put general information that applies to every level of the game, such as particular rules like time, or combat, or shops, etc. In general, it's also a nice place to describe the flow of the game. Even if it's as simple as World 1, World 2, World 3, etc., at least you can let the player know that even though it's fairly obvious. Take a look at the Walkthrough pages of several of our featured guides for ideas on what to put there. Also, we don't provide welcome messages to every user that signs up because we get quite a large number of account creations that don't actually contribute. Heh. I was just working on my answer, but Procyon beat me to it. There isn't really anything I can add, except when starting an article, make sure its name is a sub-page of the game's article. Game name/Level name rather than simply Level name. Also, use the 'Guide Page' button, to automatically insert the Header and Footer Nav templates you see on every page. As Procyon suggested, take a look at the featured guides, and also at the StrategyWiki:Guide, to see how pages should be laid out. As for WiKirby, I'll just try and help out wherever I can. Links to WiKirby articles

Just as a heads-up, if you mention a character or enemy, etc., for the first time on a page and WiKirby has an article on it, feel free to link it using the {{wk}} template (e.g. "Defeat the {{wk|Wheelie}} to get its ability" becomes "Defeat the Wheelie to get its ability"). That way people reading through these guides wanting more information on these enemies/characters/etc. can quickly access it. Thanks to all for the responses and I appreciate the tip! I'll make use of it. I'm sorta going through some Zelda game pages with high classes here to get the best impression on how everything is structured. Uploading images

Uploading images here is a bit different to what you're probably used to. You have to put the game's name or initials in the file name (KCC Tiny Town as opposed to simply Tiny Town). Each game also has its own image category used alongside Category:Screenshots and similar: Category:game name images (Category:Kirby: Canvas Curse images, for example).
