Preload buttons[edit]

Here's what the buttons look like.

Hi, please use the preload buttons located above the edit text box when creating a new page. These buttons will insert the needed templates and formatting for you, which helps keep uniformity across the wiki. — najzereT 21:12, 31 October 2009 (UTC)

Also, please don't sign guide pages. Thanks! — najzereT 21:12, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
Seriously, please be more aware of the header and footer navs. I added them to the The New Arrival, so copy the code at the top and bottom of the page whenever you make a new page. Or use the Preload buttons as shown above. --Arrow Windwhistler (talk) 23:17, 2 November 2009 (UTC)

Transformers pages[edit]

Hi, thanks for working on the Transformers guide! It doesn't look like the Cheats and Action Replay codes have enough information to be on separate pages. Is there a reason you want different pages for them? Also, I know it's kind of tough to find, but our page naming guideline indicates the page you made should be called "Action Replay codes" with a lower case "codes" if we decide to keep it. Let me know what your thoughts and intentions are for the Cheats and Action Replay pages. Thanks! — najzereT 18:29, 3 November 2009 (UTC)

Hey, I had to delete the Transformers Walkthrough page because it was a copy of the individual walkthrough pages. The Walkthrough page itself is mainly used to say hi to the readers with a little blurb and a picture, or in more useful ones, it may describe any general information that's true of all the walkthrough pages in the guide, or something specific the reader should know about how the walkthrough pages work. I know it takes a while to figure out how we set these guides up, but over the years we've refined the formatting so all the guides on the wiki look and work the same. Feel free to add content to pages, but just so you don't get frustrated with changes to your edits, it might be best to stay away from changing the guide layout too much or at least bring up your thoughts on the talk page beforehand. Let me know if you need help with anything. :) — najzereT 19:39, 3 November 2009 (UTC)
Hi, please don't put headings mirroring the page's name at the tops of pages. Also, when using any headings, start at ==Level 2== instead of =Level 1=. Thanks! — najzereT 19:04, 7 November 2009 (UTC)

Image uploads[edit]

Please see our policy on image naming and categorization. In the future, your image names should contain the name of the game or its abbreviation and a one or two word description. All images also need to have the appropriate categories added, as well as the guide-specific image category (e.g. [[Category:Transformers: Autobots images]]). --najzereT 20:51, 3 November 2009 (UTC)
