Super Smash Bros. Brawl/Modes[edit]

That info belongs on the Super Smash Bros. Brawl/Controls page. Modes refers to things like 1 player, story, stock, etc. modes. Please move the info to the relevant page as I am going to delete the modes page shortly. -- Prod (Talk) 22:43, 23 June 2007 (CDT)

Image categorisation[edit]

I see you've been uploading a few images lately. When doing so, could you please make sure to categorise them using the correct image categories? The image policy is viewable here, and contains all the information you'll need to categorise future uploads. --Prod (Talk) 16:23, 24 June 2007 (CDT)

The guideline is here, please follow it. -- Prod (Talk) 16:35, 24 June 2007 (CDT)

Moved Community Issues post to appropriate location.[edit]

This is a note just to let you know that your question regarding SSBB has been moved to the Super Smash Bros. Brawl discussion page. Procyon (Talk) 20:22, 25 June 2007 (CDT)

SSBB Help[edit]

No problemo, that's my job. To answer your questions:

  1. "How do I move the move lists to a single link in the Appendices???": Well, there really isn't a need to do that. Why? By the time the SSBB guide is finished, there will be many more links in the ToC. Having the movelists all laid out right there might work to fill in the gaps (you'll know what I mean when we get a complete list of the walkthrough sub pages). Secondly, by moving them to a single link you will have to reduce the large movelists label to a very small link. Additionally, when you go to that page, all you are going to have is those same links, right? So moving them from the ToC isn't really useful. Please, give me your opinion on the subject. Is it because you know there will be tons of character links? We can always expand that section to take up two columns instead, thus reducing the vertical stretch by a factor of 1/2.
  2. "How do I move the final smash subpage to the Getting Started part (like the assist trophies link)???": All you do is edit the ToC. Cut the link from the appendices section, and move it up to the Getting Started. In the Header Nav there is a little link that says Table of Contents (click it and you'll be sent to the ToC page where you can edit it). I'll just give you the link, but be more observant! Super Smash Bros. Brawl/Table of Contents. Hope that helps. --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 20:50, 8 October 2007 (CDT)

Unconfirmed Information[edit]

Hey FDL, when adding unconfirmed information, you need to make that blatantly clear. On the SSBB Pokemon page you added Kyoge and Torchic. I assume the pokemon themselves have been confirmed, but not their attacks. The message isn't grammatically correct, which makes it hard to understand. By "maybe because the attack hasn't been confirmed" did you mean you were just guessing because the information hasn't been released? All you need to do is add a comma after the maybe - otherwise it alters the meaning. Also, it's better to NOT add such information (leaving it clear is usually best). Don't worry about it this time, I know you'll update it when it does get released, but if you could update the misunderstanding in the parentheses I'd be appreciative. Thanks, and keep up the great work! --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 22:27, 10 October 2007 (CDT)

Image cats and descriptions[edit]

Hey Fierce, when uploading images, remember to put all applicable image cats, not just one (you probably didn't know this, don't worry about it). I'll use File:SSBB nesspkstarstorm.jpg as an example: first of all, you mis-categorized it with the "items" category - this is clearly an image of game action, or simply a screenshot of what could be seen in game, as such the category should be Category:Screenshots. Secondly, if a game has more than a few images, we create an image category specifically for that game - in this case we use Category:Super Smash Bros. Brawl images. Finally, please put a useful description of the image in the summary so when people go to look at the image upclose, they can get some additional info on it (where it came from, or who made it, or to what game it applies and how). I updated the info for you as an example, but please continue to do it properly from now on. Thanks a lot! You're an integral part of the SSBB guide team. --70.89.126.86 19:17, 7 February 2008 (CST)

Feel free to move this to your user page, or wherever else you want to display it. :-) --DrBob (talk) 17:23, 23 February 2008 (CST)

Spaces between list items[edit]

Please do not put spaces between list items. It breaks the list from a markup point of view, and makes articles unnecessarily longer than they should be (albeit by only a small amount). --DrBob (talk) 21:22, 26 October 2008 (UTC)
