Welcome to StrategyWiki![edit]

Hello HumaneEmperor66! Welcome to StrategyWiki. Thank you for your contributions. If you have any questions, just contact a sysop through their talk page or post on the staff lounge, and they'd be happy to help. If you need help editing, check the StrategyWiki Guide or visit the Discord server to chat. On the other hand, if you have ideas for StrategyWiki, bring them up on the staff lounge as well. To keep up-to-date with the goings on of the wiki, consider adding the noticeboard to your watchlist.

Please remember to sign your name when leaving comments on talk pages by clicking Wikisigbutton.png or using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Feel free to delete this message from your talk page if you like, or keep it for reference. Happy editing! — Prod (talk) 23:20, 15 September 2021 (UTC)

Image naming[edit]

Please see our policy on image naming. For consistency and ease of use throughout the wiki, image names should contain the name of the game or its abbreviation and a one or two word description. Thanks for helping to keep our images neat! — Prod (talk) 00:54, 16 September 2021 (UTC)

Furthermore, when uploading images, please attempt to use the {{File}} template to fill out necessary. Your recently renamed uploads also have been converted to use this template to see how it works in practice. A guide to using it can be located here:
{{File
|game = (game name, which has recently been Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon: Another Story)
|summary = (a summary to describe the image)
|type = (found on Template:File, usually going to be "boxart", "artwork", "sprite", or "screenshot" with no quotation marks)
|source = (source link, or, if captured yourself, please indicate it comes directly from the game)
}}
Here is an easily copypastable version.
{{File
|game=
|summary=
|type=
|source=
}}
Furthermore, I notice that a your uploads are extremely bloated for size. I would recommend using an image optimization software to help cut down on some of these needlessly large files. If you use Mac/Apple or Linux services, Image Optim is the best way to go. Windows (or really any service) can use EZGIF's website somewhat effectively as well. Thanks for your recent contributions! Please don't worry too much about the file size. We're not hurting for space right now. But using the {{File}} template when you upload your images will help us out a lot. Thank you. Procyon 21:00, 16 September 2021 (UTC)
